Shadows do not appear if things like ssao, subsurface scattering, ibl do not work also. Or something wrong with shadow setting of your game video options.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
Hi All,
I have a well known issue from earlier.
Predator Vision FX vs ENB Series.
I have tried almost the most endorsed, or trending preset, and do not really presets which I could use Gopher Predator Vision mod.
Found workarounds, Phinix Ok but it is different aspect.
I am just a player. And I guess(sure) both Gopher or mod authers have the knowledge. But, thouhgt, I just came here ask yours, your brain, your knowledege... Maybe...
Is there any secret to make most used presets and PV, works together?
Or will be any chance in the near future to solve that issue?
Thank You!

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
If i understood what you asking, the only way to do some compatibility is to integrade code in to every preset and no other way.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
I guess this must have been asked already, but some game spell effects seem to disable the skin subsurface scattering when they're active.
Is there some kind of workaround to fix this?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
It’s a game engine limitation that’s not easy to work around.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
My suggestion would be to use the mod "No Ugly Effects" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/16346 . It should disable most of those kinds of effects.couleuvre wrote:I guess this must have been asked already, but some game spell effects seem to disable the skin subsurface scattering when they're active.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
Hi Boris,
Thanks so much for all these new updates you're pushing out!
One question though: How did you implement the distant shadows feature? Is it a form of screen space shadows?
I am asking this because I would love to be able to reduce shadow distance in the default game settings if I can just use ENB's distant shadows feature instead.
It would be a cool way to save performance.
Also, what is the performance cost of Distant Shadows?

It seems that the performance cost of distant shadows is negligible. But i second Pritster's questions, curious to know some more about the implications in context with the regular shadows.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
Distant shadows are just screen space shadows, so they are buggy and can't replace game one.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.368
Hi Boris, one question about distant shadows. It would be possible, in a future update, add some resource to tweak the intensity of these shadows ? In some cases distant shadows (specially on trees) seems to be very strong (too dark).....
