Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
I would like to know if someone else noticed this problem, I think I will not be able to show it by screenshot because it depends on the character in movement. In the preset I'm working on, the shadow is simply rendering some distance ahead my character when she is walking or running. The more she runs, more the shadows render (shadows in grass, rocks and in trees, mainly) . It does not occur with binaries 0.357, but occurs with the new ones, including 0.366 ( even with new features disabled)...... =/

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
Hi Boris.
When I reduce the values to get darker shadows they start to flicker. The lower the value, the brighter the flashing of the shadows. I already hung up SSAO, I tried SSAO via Inspectore nothing solved. I tested by regression and with V308 the problem does not occur, but I lose 5FPS between 366 and 308.
HELP!

I dont understand what you mean. If shadow from moving objects is kinda used from previous frame and drawed with visible delay, i dont have it, tested just now with 12 fps lock while running from third person camera.
pasking
Reduce what? Anyway, did you try to increase time for adaptation?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
Boris,
The problem seems to be a delay in AO rendering. In this video, see the rocks on the left: https://www.flickr.com/photos/93934685@ ... ed-public/
And as I said before, it is not occuring when I use 0.357 binaries.........

Here is a picture how fog in game applied, can be seen if you tweak it's intensity a lot. So when you see ao (and some other effects) starting to appear from certain distance too intense, it means that is where game fog starts. In older versions i have used zero based distance funtion to fade, but because of distance shadows (to make them blend more correct, if i remember, Guzio reported issues) i have done another distance function which 100% dublicate how game do it. Try yourself, if you see this border from fog, then it's that issue, if not, then try to tweak everything to see which parameter do this.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
Hi Boris,
Sorry for the bad explanation.
When I lower the values of the Skylighting parameter to get darker and realistic shadows I see that when walking, the lighter shadows are flashing and flashing in the .366 version. With version .308 this problem does not occur. I have already changed the values for SSaO, adaptation, mist, fog, etc, include inspector changes. I tested with a Vanilla installation with pure ENB only, vanilla .ini files only with ENB Requests, no weather mod and no preset and the same error occurs with the 366:
Thank you very much.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
C'mon, its not shadows, it's skylighting itself flicker. Because lower resolution of skylighting is used to increase performance a lot. There are other more annoying bugs from this, but skylighting is very heavy and not many people use it cause of that, so better when it fast, but more buggy.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
Hi Boris,
What I meant is that the shadows oscillate and shake. I made two videos to serve as an example:
308
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV3OwbPstLw
366
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVUILHgrElE
I hope you can see.
Best Regards.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.366
I cant see on video, but i gave you an answer, you pointed problem as skylighting, so i know it. Resolution of shadow for computing skylighting is decreased for higher performance, so as result, small objects can disappear and be very noisy. This was reported earlier, but with another example in Whiterun.
