Yes it's the ash spawn spell attack which is kind of like the Fireball spell (and the fx meshes are basically recolored fireball meshes) but I'm not sure if lore-wise it's supposed to be fire or fire-like magic or what exactly.

EDIT: I checked things a bit more in-depth, it seems they are mostly fine, I would (will, in my mod) change only a few:

dlc2ashspawnhandeffects.nif: ChargeFire from 4333 to 4109
dlc2ashspawnprojectile01.nif: FlameSide02 from 4845 to 4109
dlc2ashspawnexp01.nif: Torus02 from 4333 to 4109
ashexp01.nif: pSmallSparks from 4333 to 4109

Hey I downloaded the: SPECIAL EDITION

PARTICLE PATCH ALL-IN-ONE INSTALLATION

& I must say that smoke loooooooooks pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! Nice!

only issue, is that I'm getting it going through buildings: https://i.imgur.com/P0wnMY7.jpg

It comes through on various rooves. Any idea on how to fix? Modlist: https://modwat.ch/u/mattski123/plugins

That's normal since particles have no collision detection, it's just that you now notice it more easily because the smoke is more visible.

Gotcha... Hmm... And there currently isn't a way to get around that?

Hello, first, i'd like to thank you for your work.

I guess a mod that stops wind or less smoke.

I also have a question. I'm from french side of Belgium and i would like to keep a full french Skyrim but this mod translates some mines names in english like "whistling mine" for example.
Is it necessary or can you leave the game's language default names ?

Hmm that's actually a very good point but I don't think it's something I can do so basically someone would need to create a French translation for the plugin.

Hello! Ty for your mod!!

I found a bug (i guess) on the SKSE version

(...)\meshes\magic\fireball01handeffects.nif

It leaves a small glitch on both hands while casting fire magics...

I made a screenshot with all mods disabled (except Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB, with the fireball01handeffects.nif activate -left image -; and hidden - right image)

Important: i've tested it with ENB enabled, and the problem is exactly the same.
