Re: [Skyrim/SSE/FO4] FreeFlyCam plugins

In case of there's any confusions, the default behavior is:

When entering TFC, you should be able to control the flycam if there's no any opened pause-menu such as the WaitMenu(T) or FavMenu(Q) or any mod menus that will also pause the game.

By default, clicking middle mse button when flycam control is active will toggle the flycam control state, allowing user inputs to, for example, opens FavMenu by pressing Q or any other keys that was blocked by the plugin before.

And if there's any pause-menu currently opened, the flycam control will be frozen, handover the control until all pause-menu is closed. During this state, toggling plugin control will have no effect.
While upon exiting all pause-menus, the flycam control is resumed automatically regardless whether it's toggled on or off before.

You got it! If TFC/FFC toggle does not work immediately, toggling the middle mouse button, either once or twice, resumes FFC/TFC control. I wonder why it is defaulting to an inactive state more often than not and doesn't resume with a single or double mouse button press consistently? Simple MS4000 mouse, went through MCM and couldn't find anything else mapped to M3.

Regardless of that, still no crashes with the debug dll. Huge improvement!

Re: [Skyrim/SSE/FO4] FreeFlyCam plugins

I can't get Oldrim v11 to work with a gamepad on Win10, I'm afraid. When I enter tfc while a gamepad is connected, I can't gain control over the camera whatsoever. It's as if FFC ignored all my inputs completely. I can jump, open menus and run around for a few steps after closing them, but that's about it. I tried different gamepads (Xbox One and Switch Pro Controller) and remapping the toggle lock to do different keys, but I had no luck with that. I'm on a german Windows machine, so I thought the DXScanCodes might be slightly different, but I couldn't find anything on that matter nor could I figure out how to read the codes, so who knows. I also tried using a setup with nothing active but SKSE and FreeFlycam; didn't work, either. M&K works just fine, though.

Re: [Skyrim/SSE/FO4] FreeFlyCam plugins

by design, the plugin only handles gamepad input when you've enable gamepad in the game's gameplay menu.
Though this might change in the future.

Gamepads are enabled in-game. I can play the game just fine with any controller, but if FFC v11 is installed and I go into tfc, I lose control over the camera until I exit tfc. Pressing X or any button I assign to the lock toggle in the FreeFlyCam_Gamepad.ini does nothing. Disabling the lock in kb&ms mode and then turning the gamepad on also locks the camera again.

Re: [Skyrim/SSE/FO4] FreeFlyCam plugins

what's the log saying then? (\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE\FreeFlyCam.log )

also considered delete or move the FreeFlyCam_Gamepad.ini to other places so that the plugin can loads default values.

btw, is sgtm function still working?
the default key combination is by holding dpad-left and right/left-trigger to increase/decrease sgtm.

Steam is the culprit, I think. I got the plugin to work perfectly by disabling every setting in Steam's
Settings > Controller > General controller settings.
Since I'm using an Xbox One gamepad, I had "Xbox Configuration Support" switched on. Switching it off made FFC work as intended.
Interestingly, after using FFC successfully, turning the config support back on can lead to Skyrim not reading my inputs correctly from the start.
