ENBSeries wrote:You can use tfc to go inside water planes to see what is happening there with RW2 and without it in those buggy places. As you can see, there is one water placed lower than another one, like a sandwich. In vanilla game this was not seen.
About z-fighting issues, they still exist, just became different form and you can't see easily. But try to look at far mountains when using tfc and open console.
I got to use tfc, but I haven't thought about go inside the water.
And do not really know, what to see, search.

I posted some new screenshots to Angel, but didn't get an answer yet. But I am sure, Angel is aware of RW2 issues, complaints, bug reports, etc.. and Angel is a very helpful and kind mo Aouthor, and I especially like how Angel joking.

- bla-bla-bla?
- Nope! It is Skyrim.

:)

So, I came here mostly, just maybe someone else noticed an issue like it, maybe another place, and as I said I know lot's of well-knowledged players and modders read your forum + lots of players, well knowledge players... For some kind of common sense...

That was my last screens:

"That's why it says it is from RW2.
But, there are no Water1024.nif file at RW2 mod.

I do not want to flood your topic! Sry and MEA CULPA!

About Z-fighting: Occasionally I see flickering snow at mountains, but this is very subtle, and after Oldrim Skyrim it's a miracle.

I really appreciate your support Boris!

Thank You!

Hi Mindflux,

That why I said earlier, that that little pond is a pond. And handled by a pond.
But RW2 ENB Textures does not contain pond dds file.

Angel suggested as a quick test to use default_creeak water dds file, from ENB texture. I also uploaded videos after doing that, and it was better, but issues with tesselation enabled or disabled.

I just want to help mostly to Angel, cause I am sure from screens and videos Angel knows "what's next"...

Have you (also Boris) tried that little pond?
The issue was present at your side, as well?

Cause, some people said do not notice that bug. Which is very strange, after what Boris told, that is an engine issue. Does not really have a solution, and not ENB problem.
(that's what I say from the 1st moment, as well)

Thanks!

Tried tfc, but don't really help, cause issue had gone away as I closed the issue...
(but tessellation enabled or disabled has a big difference)

Sorry no, haven't checked in-game with RW2 but I believe what I see in your screenshots.

Wavy Water doesn't have a similar issue since it has no Worldspace modifications.

I see. But I am sure it's more than enough for you!

Yes, indeed. Wavy Waters some kind of Cathedral Water mod, but ENB based by default.
Just now made a video at the same place. I also shared with TechAngel.

I have no idea, how will able to solve Angel RW2 issues caused by its Worldspace modifications...

RW2 work well if I disable WATER section at ENB. But, in this case, what's the point that new WATER section. (?)

Wavy Waters with modified Rudy ENB by AMON. (AMON Guide)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5bQVAM ... e=youtu.be

No water.nif file, no issue.
We could also use Cathedral Water but "does not support" ENB WATER section.
If Boris put ENB support for water in my opinion, it's a waste not to use that feature.

And RW2 ATM is buggy for that. But not 100% bad, just approx 90% of the water surface. Some kind of spot like that, and Solitude area, which is worst than the best horror movie...

ATM, if I want to enjoy the benefit of ENB WATER feature, I don't know other water mods, just Wavy Water.
Cons: Does not support Need mod.

Found in Fallout 4 same bug with wrongly drawed additional water square around character, but it visible only in reflections, including vanilla game. I will try to dump data of them to see what differ buggy from real one, as remember their transform matrices do not look much different, but for me it seems wrong quad is very close to camera or behind it by position.
https://imgur.com/a/d1Bb0E1 here is RW2 installed and that buggy place with tfc, two waters one above another, that causing problem.

"Nice" :/
Cause I also played FO4, now pausing.

That one I told lots of others, the bug(issue) appears at "pure" Vanilla game, as well.

RW2, just forward records from Skyrim.esm (water1024.nif; water2048.nif) Workspace records.
And that's why I tried to pointed out, if:

- the bug does not appear with Wavy Waters (upload video - flagged for Need mods)
- but exist using Vanilla or RW2

in my opinion, it's not an engine or game bug. Not really.

I do not have knowledge like TechAngel or You (I am just a player), but I know how to test something.

Somehow Angel should (in my opinion) really re-write RW2, at all.
(I know it's a pain) But...

Vanilla game issue exists, for instance, Solitude area. How Angel also said.
That area Wavy Water also unable to hide ugly water seams, but just subtle.

So, after you put WATER ENB feature to SE, the water looks better, but on the other hand, issues which were subtle now can look terrible.

(That's why I am a little bit set, you changed your mind that "Guys! SE water is not Oldrim water, buggy, issue, hard to handle, etc..." and also Angel said from the very first time that Solitude area it's a mess.)

But, I really you will able to somehow fix, or reduce issues like that. The best way in my opinion, to corporate with other mod authors, atm with Angel.
(more knowledge, etc...)

But I know, you are a person who likes works alone. Sometimes it's good. But for instance at a real workplace people working at the project.

Thank You for the info.

It's really easy to make a Vanilla game via MO2. I've done it, and looked at the buggy area. Bugs are there.
And I do not care, if somebody else says, no it's not, main looks good.
(Man! I am totally not interested how your Skyrim looks like, I am talking something totally different thing)

This picture was taken without ENBSeries installed (no d3d11.dll i mean) of vanilla game and RW2 installed. I think it's game bug, because there is no point for engine to draw second square. Let me explain how things rendered. Flowing water type (rivers) have that square around character when entering water and game generate procedural waves from character. Old water drawed anyway and square is kinda mask overlay with almost same shader, but added waves from character. By some reason such square drawed more than once and this i can't well explain. At first i thought maybe somewhere crab or other creature entered water and generate it's own square with waves, but it seems this is not an answer, because position of extra squares is wrong, above real water much. Maybe the area where new water added have some kind of scaling, so extra square rendered and it's properties also scaled? I suspect it have offset of position in up direction and maybe it depends from scaling of water which generate square. As i said earlier, can remove it by producing other bugs when displacement enabled. Maybe there is some other way, i need to think and find dependency when it happen.

Indeed, if you use a water mod, which carried over just Skyrim.esm vanilla Worldspace records.
But, if using a water mod, which does not use Worldspace records, it will be fine.

Try Wavy Water, at the same place. I am sure it will be okay!
(It looks well, or not, it's personal taste...)

That's why I wrote, in my opinion sadly TechAngel should remake RW2, from the base and forget Worldspace records.

Have you tried, just Vanilla water?

Sry, Boris, for the short answer, but I am very busy ATM. I'll read it again, and first, try to understand every one of your thoughts. :)
