Maybe Wizkid won't eat me. :)

From Wizkid:

I know, I loose the tassellation feature but I can live with it
About the Need features it's the exact opposite, RWT need a patch to work with INeed like any water mod but if you use vanilla water only, you don't need anything else cause INeed obviously touches vanilla water only
I don't like Wavy Water, it makes all waters look the same, I like the effects but not everywhere
Looking at your video I see you are using my fixes, fine "

yes I completely removed RWT, it causes too many glitches so now I use only textures replacers, Water HD, Smooth Water and White Water. Doing so not only I gained about 10 FPS but I completely solved problems related to the lod water and incompatibility with several other mods "

me and wizkid, that lately we are collaborating to solve different visual problems and bugs, we have noticed many problems related to realistic water 2. therefore we are taking other ways to get the best possible result for the game, both from the visual and functional point of view.
thanks again for writing!!! "

I will try that method. Really promising idea!

Sadly, we have to say goodbye to RW2.
But, I hope Angel will be able to do something...

Nobody likes issues...

Do you still think it's a game or engine bug?!

I worked for years as an IT tester at a project.

If it would be a game or engine, or etc bug... the issue should be there always exists, does not matter what are you doing.

It is related just RW2 from Water mods.
So, it's an RW2 bug. How RW2 works and TechAngel knows that RW2 is buggy.

- Vanilla water, no issue;
- Wavy Water. no issue;
- Cathedral Water; no issue

Don't you find it odd?!

Cause, I am.

My FIXES must be placed below any plugin that touches landscape, so is better to put it at the very bottom of the load order.

About RW2, yes is true, is a bit bugged and with the ENB active many water glitches are a way more visibles.

The Solitude zone is the more problematic one, to fix all the visual glitches, not LOD related ones, RWT must be unistalled and the ENB water settings properly adjusted.
In the future I could publish a compete guide about the ENB proper setup

don't forget TechAngel is not the author of RWT, that's SparrowPrince ( IIRC )
TechAngel might not be able to fix this

I won't forget!
I am aware of it. But, atm just Angel the one, who can find a solution for RW2.

And Angel has very good knowledge.

In my opinion, I didn't say any wrong word from Angel.
Please, do not add words to my mouth!

Thank You!

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.383

Dark water square visible sometime is game bug, i don't know why it happen, sometime summary 3 such squares rendered (two of them are glitches). With tessellation enabled bug of tessellated water go above calm water is a bug of tessellation displacement and totally normal to expect such behavior if waves are moved up. RW2 simply not designed about taking care of such things, same as game too. Now i want to try compress tessellated waves by depth, maybe that little distance between two layers of waters will be enough to place waves there in z buffer. But i doubt that, no much precision in such short distance, waves may start to have z-fighting themselves.

Agreed, and Indeed!

As I said before RW2 still works pretty well if ENB WATER section disabled.
The good old way...

That's why I said I am a little bit sad Boris, you changed your first thought after players came up, please WATER! :/

And you told, Nope! Skyrim SE water is very buggy, not worth to deal with ENB water at Skyrim SE.

Do not really notice you change your mind...

But, now, after you've done it, I hope you will able to find out something good.

ATM, I am trying "to build" a Vanilla Water based water modification.
Based by AMON GUIDE.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.383

I didnt say SSE water is buggy, i said it have crazy number of shaders, more than thousand, so to modify them was bad idea for me. When i tried to modify Fallout 4 water soon after game was released, it turned to be very problematic cause too many waters too. But now both Fallout 4 and Skyrim have just few water shaders used and all others used only for lights, so can be ignored. Complexity decreased to editable, so i changed my mind.

Okay, Boris!

Maybe I didn't remember 100% well, but I remembered, something like that.
And changing our mind is not always bad.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.383

Got one idea, will check tomorrow. If there is small distance between tessellated water and not tessellated above, compressing depth of tessellation to fit that distance may do the trick. Tried already on laptop, but performance there too low and can't see bugs at movement, hope it may work. In such case just need in any buggy places put second water bit higher.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.383

Boris,

At new enb series, how can I totally, absolutely, disable ENB water?!
Cause if I disable water, at enbseries.ini file (or console), it's looks different when enb series didn't contain Water section.

For instance, at 0.372

I mean, something like that:

https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/im ... 304305.jpg

https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/im ... 575531.jpg

I'd like to try something... Or do only solution, to use older enb binary?!

v0.372

I'd like exactly the same water surface with 0.383

https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mo ... 902486.png

I don't understand, now it worked, well.

I will upload a video (again) why I asked it.
Cause if ENB WATER enabled where the water is buggy it looks horrible. And ATM I don't know other solution, just use the new binary as it was when I played with the 0.372.
I didn't know, that water can look like that way. :/

And, no, no mod conflicts. Everybody who has the vanilla game try to load that cell and look with ENB Water enabled/disabled.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEBp2l_ ... e=youtu.be

WTF is that?!

I don't know...

Those ones, I totally have no idea how will somebody fix.
I can't imagine any fix for that water bugs, vanilla water(!) + Vanilla Game, issues at SE:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPUL0Hb ... e=youtu.be

The 2nd video pure vanilla game. Pure!
Nobody tell me about Waterfix scripts (it's done) or mod conflicts.
Try yourself.
