Re: TES Skyrim 0.113
Forget new features. Find a way to get AO working properly with transparencies etc. Fire, fog, water all need addressing and I know you've said there is nothing that can be done, but I don't believe it. They really are becoming such an immersion killer that ditching ENB alltogether is looking more appealing. Nvidia AO has none of these issues. Add to that some ENB releases have more issues with this than others. Sorry for the rant. I'd just like to see the this tool polished. (that's what she said).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.113
That's a point, but I remember Boris saying that it's not worth it to fix the water/blood SSAO bug because it would have an added medium performance hit.
I personally do not get too annoyed about the water bug with SSAO, its not massively noticeable to me. It still is noticeable, but it's not something that I'm too annoyed about. I can't use Nvidia AO anyway, for some reason my performance tanks horribly even at the 'performance' preset of it, and it's barely noticeable.
I just got curious, since it's been over two weeks since he posted on the front page so I figured he might have something cool in store for us.
Anyway, most of these annoying bugs are internal game engine bugs, I have to say the engine behind Skyrim for me has been the most disappointing engine graphically released in recent games I've played. Too bad I love playing Crysis 2, which runs like butter at a constant 45fps @ 1080p, actually has decent shadows, particles and all the rest of it. I heard somewhere that shadows are rendered by the CPU in Skyrim, I'm not sure if this is true but I wouldn't be surprised.
/end rant

MTindle
I'm not working on motion blur, it's simple version based on camera movement is annoying shit and complex per object velocities in this engine is huge amount of coding and antialiasing will not be supported or it will be, but performance will be twice lower to draw objects again to another render target (velocity only).

Why don't you ask on game development forums is it possible without dx11 features to apply depth based effects (depth of field, ssao, screen space motion blur) on transparent objects?

Uh, really? Do you know that it's applied over entire screen like all other games do, completely ignoring lighting? You like it, then use it.Nvidia AO has none of these issues

I don't like it, obviously. Maybe you could explain in laymen terms why each ENB release comes with the same issues in different areas it seems?ENBSeries wrote:MTindle

Right now with .113 the water in front of Dragonsreach is fine, but everywhere else in the game, it's transparent. I remember you saying you fixed the water there, but that made it worse everywhere else? I'm fine with a performance hit fixing this crap. I'd at least like the option to go out and buy a better video card if I want to play it without these issues. People will still be playing this game several years from now when the hardware is more powerful then it is now, and ENB will still have these issues.

Is anyone else experiencing things looking a bit "off" when you transition from an interior space to the exterior world? I have to toggle the map on and off to fix it.

Wolfstryder, yes I am. I noticed yesterday that if I'm in say Whiterun and go from exterior to interior and then back out, at least the fog color values are read from the night-time settings. Opening and closing the map indeed solves the issue.

Is there a way to edit the Godrays processing in one of the fx files?
I want to reduce the amount of bloom applied to the sun area when you look at the sun.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.113
This is not possible and there is no bloom or any other things like that in the sun rays, only sun texture masked out by objects and clouds.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.113
Boris since Adobe Flash 11.3 it happens for me that a lot of hooking apps crash it i guess this is part of their new security layer also The ENB Injector if running in the background seems to trigger this, im not sure why it crashes when it detects the Injector though not sure even if ENB Injector actively hooks into the Player itself if not then it really seems they just scann for hooks and crash their player on detection
