Brilliant screens once again, PMind.

SSS is a bit problematic because of the glitchy contour it can bring out, but even so I think it's often crucial in giving the scene that final touch. For example it can make or break the Rift because of the huge amount of leaves that it affects.

Great English I think, so no worries there ;)

I can understand how using some of these major hi-res packs how VRAM usage might become an issue, I guess you have to be selective and not use textures that add little to the overall experience... Flora can certainly kill frame rates as I find with Glorious Grasses, which can easily knock it back by 10fps or more; I try to keep things as simple as possible, as its all too easy to go mad adding masses of huge textures and other mods that add little apart from grief :|

As for system RAM I use a max of 3.3GB running Skyrim... that's not what Skyrim uses, but the total used, so 4GB should be okay in most cases.

PMind... truly amazing captures 8-)

Can you tell me which pine bark textures your using please?... you can almost feel the roughness on those trees.

Hey DogStar thanks man good to know. I will try that " Glorious Grasses " to see how much my pc suffer more. I see it now with more than 4gb system ram i will be safe and is better for the future.
Btw you use " uGridsToLoad " and " uExterior Cell Buffer " with more values than default? thats another thing that cost you huge framedrops just for add more things on the landscape and more ahh and what about that annoying " Z-Fighting " ? more settings we need to reduse it some at cost of more performance!!. The price to make Skyrim look as perfect or uber realistic than ever is too much only for monster pcs?

The first 3 just caught my eye shining in the candlelight--never noticed the detail on them before and now must see what other side looks like as didn't think about it at the time--small details I never look for are still nice little surprises while playing Skyrim.

@PMind: Astonishing shots. I really like the pics with the fence and the items on the table. Great DOF.

@eldyraen: How do you do such pictures like the one with the coins? Evertime I try to go as near like those the textures are vanishing I can see "through" the object.

Besides changing fov ('fov x' naturally) you probably mean using 'sucsm x', where x is whatever value you want the camera to move (once you use tfc of course). Lower is slower and can use decimals to get really close without going inside of objects if you need that fine control due to angle or placement. It comes in handy and apparently I overlooked the command when looking them up until recently (I forgot how to do something so found it when looking that back up)--it makes things much easier both for close ups and to zoom out faster for when you just want to look around in 'photo mode'. Hope it helps, it became invaluable as I'm putting more effort in to close ups now that I know how to fine tune a little better.

I use uExteriorCell Buffer=72 and uGridstoLoad=7 with no problems... no other memory tweaks at all, of which there are many; since getting the gTX670 I have not had a single crash in Skyrim, which was a regular feature on my AMD card. I have seen nothing to help the Z-fighting and I think we are going to have to live with it.

eldyraen... the detail on the coins is amazing, the head looks like Lenin :shock: I've never looked at them closely [are these Bethsoft textures?]

@Cyberghost, look up 'fneardistance'. It's something that you can add to the ini to determine how close you can get to objects before you go through them.
