I increased the brightness so you can see better: https://i.imgur.com/ukr3VX4.png
The dark regions is where the water is. Don't know if it has something to do with reflections, but disabling water the issue disappears ........

I don't know, i thought about reflections in the puddles, but it's such a minor thing. Same about anything else, nothing really impressive to bother.

Do you think this problem could be fixed ? https://i.imgur.com/ukr3VX4.png

It seems to be relatade to the Water feature, cause disabling Water makes the problem disappear........

Re: Fallout 4 0.385

It occurs only during heavy rain at night near places with water . I'm using NAC as Weather mod, if it could be of some help.....

Re: Fallout 4 0.385

I'm working on a landscape texture mod at the moment, and if it would in some way be possible to add displacement/tessellation or Parallax Ccclusion Mapping to the terrain, I would be forever grateful. It would improve the visuals in a big way. Vanilla game does support POM, but it's only used for decals, like bullet holes and the like.

I can provide texture files for testing if you feel like trying it out Boris.

I could provide you with an empty worldspace, where there is only empty terrain, and a couple of decals that have POM. Maybe this could help isolating the vanilla shaders used for the POM?

Here are a couples of examples some textures I made and decals with POM.

Re: Fallout 4 0.385

There are huge number of shaders to change and tessellation is not a thing which can be turned on for anything, game models must be made for it, otherwise tons of various unfixable bugs occur. Parallax is less pain in the ass, but still need lot of patching, not sure i will succeed at this like i did in much simpler old skyrim with less shaders.

Re: Fallout 4 0.385

Fair enough. If you decide to try and implement the POM, here are some files for testing: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1Frn3TS8 ... t=download

To use the files, extract the content to the games "Data" folder, enable the .esp file in the game launcher or in a mod manager. Load up the game.

When in game, you can now pull up the console, and type in "coc MyWorld01". You will then be transported to an empty worldspace for testing. I placed decals with POM in front of the cars. Two of the landscape textures have height maps assigned to them, which the game at the moment doesn't know how to use. They have the suffix "_h", so they're called "Aspahlt02_h.dds" and "ground02_h.dds".

Hope that's useful.
