Re: TES Skyrim SE

1.
I noticed that
Nvidia Plugin dds 8.8.8 rgb 24, uncompressed map without alpha map is smaller than
intel Plugin BC 7 uncompressed map without alpha map

Which surprised me, as intel is the newer and better format. But in this case not useful.

2.
Nvidia DXT1 has better quality than
Intel BC 1
Also Nvidia takes 20 times the time to save

I know Dxt1 should be bc1, but the difference in save time doesn't seem to be an old algorithm, but maybe a more accurate calcucaltion by the tool.

Can somebody confirm this?

Re: TES Skyrim SE

Looks great.
Small suggestion: For the transition texture between top and lower texture on the tundra meshes, I would just switch it to using the top texture again.
That way there is only 1 instead of 2 bad transitions.
Those meshes really need a rework. Tried a different blend mode, which should be possible, but don't know enough about that stuff.
Actually I'm pretty sure you two guys Mindflux and Guzio would come up with a solution in like 2 minutes :P

Re: TES Skyrim SE

You mean the trim, Pfuscher? It does look pretty bad.

Re: TES Skyrim SE

mindflux - I needed a little break from Skyrim :D

Pfuscher - Be more precise, show me, what you mean, in a screenshot :D

Anyway, the updated version - Rudy for SSE 5.0 OW - Prerelease - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O88RDm ... sp=sharing

That's what I meant. We all got that problem with the trim on those tundra meshes.
