At some point I looked at adding more little weeds but the way the grass is rendered makes it very tricky, most assets look terrible. I think this particular grass could be improved by making it even smaller and more dense, but it quickly hits the framerate pretty badly.

Nevermind the terrible use of uv space, never got around improving it...
Mindflux Grass is best grass.

How have you mapped the folder structure to make those grasses appear ingame?

Urff, spliced out verdant, putting in multiple instances of the short grass model and various other hand-picked grasses from other mods. Uses the verdant plugin, with some edits to the landscape texture grass listings

Ok, which Mesh have you replaced with the Mindflux Grass?

Parallax map 1k intel Texture Plugin uncompressed 5,3mb (I don't want to use bc1/dxt1)
Nvidia plugin: 4mb
Nvidia plugin without mipmaps 3mb

Parallax maps don't really need mipmaps right? So I could save over 40% in size with the last method?

Bc7 compressed at 1,3mb would be even better performance wise I think.
Without mipmaps at 1mb best
I don't know about mipmaps, but what about using BC4 instead of BC7? In theory, it should offer better quality than BC1/DXT1 but with the same filesize. It's smaller than BC7 because it's for grayscale images only.

@ Hyareil: Thanks for the input. Had a look at it, but wasn't sure Skyrim SE is working with it.

Re: TES Skyrim SE

My enb light candles have super saturated light. And that looks weird.
How do I handle this best?
In the light mesh or via enb and which line?
Tried my whole enb setting and it didn't help.
Is this related to any gradient or texture from the enb series folder?
Of course not a problem with enb, but with my config.
