Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

good news! :)

i tested sunrays performance:
old 0.402: fps decrease by 15% with sunrays enabled
new 0.402: fps decrease by 9% with sunrays enabled

regarding blood decals with SSS:

someone posted the same problem as me on nexus with enb:
"When attacking someone with unarmored parts in VR this ENB leaves them with squares of colored blue skin, same happen with Rudy ENB if you try to use it for VR. Also some blood decals turns green so it does not seems compatible neither with enhanced blood textures. I tried Luminous ENB for VR and it works like a charm but game looks extremely vanilla so I returned to this Scenery ENB. Someone can help me fix this issue or tell me where the problem is? Maybe something I must turn off to improve it or some lines I could delete? Thank you."

i answered him:
"Yea i have the same Problem with vanilla blood. I contacted boris(author of enbseries) because the subsurface scattering seems to cause that issue. But he couldnt test it because he has no blood decals at all in his skyrim vr Version from the beginning. In dont know how to get him to find the Bug with SSS. You can disable SSS to get rid of it. Or use Scenery enb for enb 0.375 ...its faster and without SSS."

maybe is it possible that the INI settings causing that blood decals disappear in youre game?
As for me, I dont use any blood mod.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

My ini is not tweaked at all, everything vanilla and maxed out, so no ideas.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

hey boris,

i have another suggestion regarding the SSAO effect. could you make it possible to set the ssao intensity seperatly for night, dawn, sunrise, day, sunset and dusk? like other effects.

Because a barely noticeable SSAO effect at day, is fully exaggerated at night.

This is reinforced by using more ambient light during the day than at night. with cloudshadows enabled, i need this increase of ambient light a day. but the ssao effect is all the stronger at night than it already is.

by the way, here is a nice timelapse with cloudshadows and sunrays i made. thx for youre hard work on ENB VR!!

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

Version updated, download again
Replaced AOIntensity and AOIntensityInterior by per time of the day and per weather single parameter.

forbeatn
Okay, just for this game cause it's ao mixing is wrong for performance reasons.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

Jesus, that was fast. thank you very much for this. :)
finally AO is good to use for all times of the day.
Also , I personally have a slight performance boost !!

I have another Question:

Would it be possible to add the "UseOriginalPostProcessing" effect as a percentage and per time of day?
It could simulate some kind of imagebased lighting.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

No, it's technically impossible without writing lot of code in the shader and it's absolutely unlogical, so i refuse no doubt. This feature not need my work at all, anybody can do who learned to write enbeffect.fx shader.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

hey boris,

would it be possible to add cloudsedge parameter to enable sun scattering for clouds?

best regards

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402

It looks very ugly in stereo, kinda uncover that clouds are flat. Don't know, maybe there is some trick against this issue, but my experiments failed.

Re: TES Skyrim VR 0.402
