Hey Borris you think you can add the ability to go into negative values for MIST DistanceFade? Because I am trying to achieve a look of having low hanging Fog/mist for early mornings for some weathers. But the foreground doesn't seem to want to pull the mist any closer and when I invert many settings for the top and bottoms of mist values while keeping the sky still kind of clear to show off the sky edited colors. I believe being able to have negative values can help achieve that visual rather easily.

I don't remember now parameters for the mist, but 100% that parameter can't be negative by math, even if i split it in two parts, cause fading is not scaled from existing parameter, but set as variable. Only adding new parameter may help, but not to solve your problem, cause it's not the task of the mist in it's current form, that need volumetric one or some other type of effect. I hope to make it one day, at least in old skyrim it's not big problem.

Okay I understand. I hope you find an alternative for it though. It would be nice to have control like that or similar. Good luck dude!

Added RefractionFactor and Brightness parameters to [RAIN] category.
Unfortunately bluriness like in SE version failed with strange bug, mipmapped texture only works from previous frame, giving delays in visualization.

Hi Boris.
I'm trying your new binaries 407.
The new rain RefractionFactor is great. Nice improvement!
However, the Brightness parameters to [RAIN] category doesn't do anything in my case.
I tried with and without the ignoreweather system.
I tried on all rainy climates i have in my game.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.407
Hi Boris, I was looking at the night lighting bug with distant shadow enabled and realised the bug is resolved if you deselect distant shadow. As distant shadows are only seen during the day, and the lighting bug is only seen at night, would it be possible to somehow automatically disable/switch the distant shadows off at night, so the lighting could work normally - or maybe some other way of doing this?
Thanks

I think that would make sense. At least that is my input on the suggestion.
