Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Hmm.. I'm experiencing strange bugs in Dwemer ruins with a wet effect :
and I'm using a location weather for all Dwemer places, if this information matters.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Guess this is the place where transform matrices are not captured cause no sky objects and no any other to extract viewproj matrix. I had this problem in some places when developed parallax. Need save game.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Nevermind, found place where parallax buggy and it have that bug with wet surfaces too. Will try to find solution.
EDIT: fixed, will be updated bit later, wanna try some other features.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Great news
Boris-- In the LE version we have reflections, thanks to ENB, for a long time. I use them all the time in the interiors. Now we have a wet effect, which works more or less similarly. I was just wondering if there is any conflict between these two effects?
Maybe it's better to use only one? Especially since wet effect can be controlled in the weather window

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
SSR is similar, except that it's more precise, while wetness is fake simulation of reflection without occlusions and depth tracing (reminds gta4 or gta5 reflections). I could increase ssr quality, make it 100% glossy and full resolution to achieve about the same result, but performance will be huge pain, plus ssr have black areas where ray went to wrong places (occluded or ouside of the screen), but wetness is less buggy about such things. Maybe one day will try to mix them to single to have benefits from both, i don't know. Right now they compute the same thing in their own ways, so think of wet surfaces as cheap version of screen space reflection effect.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Version updated, download again
Fixed buggy wet surfaces effect in some places of interiors. Clamped amount of wet surface reflection to never be lower than zero (from bug report of some user, no idea how the heck it's possible, maybe driver bug).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Thank you for the fixes. This thing is getting better and better.
No idea how you did something so good with this collection of bugs of a game.
Currently updating my 2016 setup, looks like another game.
So much progress.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
The wet surfaces effect does not show in my game. Maybe a conflict with some mod? I use Climates of Tamriel, but i'm testing with vanilla rainstorm.
I also use Wet and Cold (visual effects like drips and splashes).
Also, I'm not sure I understand the difference between wet surfaces and rain wet surfaces. If the latter is supposed to be seen when it rains, what about the former?
Thank you.
