Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
This effect is immune to mods, but do not work if deferred rendering is disabled in enblocal.ini. ReflectionAmount*** parameters must be increased to make it visible. Rain wet surface parameters are active only when rain particles are rendered and mod switch to them with some fading time (30 seconds by default).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Boris -- Thanks for the fix. Everything works fine now
KiranDovahkiin -- Wet effect works with CoT, I'm using it right now. Rain wet surfaces effect works only when it rains, automatically detects rain particles.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Deferred rendering is enabled, I have increased several settings values and decreased the fading time. Still no wetness.
The only things I have noticed when I enable both effects, are a 4-5 fps drop (so a processing is actually going on) and a CTD after opening the game menu a few times. :?:
Anyway, if that 4-5 fps drop is expected, I'm not sure I would use the effect.
Thanks a lot.

In order for my Wetness effect to appear, I have to enable it, save the config, and then apply changes. Just like AO and reflections.
Edit: Clarification of who I was writing to.

Sure, it's not free, so don't use it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
@Insomnia: so the game must be launched with the effects already enabled. It works now, thank you!
It's very nice, too bad the performance cost for me is higher than 4-5 fps, it's even 8-9 now. Well, at least I have been able to see it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Btw, it disable itself when just rain used, so not a big deal to have lower fps when it's rain. I cant optimize this anyway, already using ldr textures compressed of low resolution.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Boris --- Two questions:
- If someone don't use these new effects (rain wetness and wet effect), is it better to disable automatic normals generation for grass by Enb (performance)?
- And the second related to the previous one, with performance in mind. Is it better to make normals for grass as a textures, or leave generating them for Enb?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414
Hi,
I don't manage to edit the brightness of the rain shader anymore (last binaries 414)
The antialiasing, motion stretch, transparency and refraction work.
But all the Brightness part doesn't work anymore. In the enbserie or the weather windows.
Before, i was able to edit the brightness for each rainy weathers.
Am i missing something?
Regards

Marmotte
Strange, works on my side.
On a more general plan, as always, any effect will benefit from the other ones settings and quality. Once all features correctly set, rainwet and wet surfaces effects allow to achieve really great rendering.
And as always, I would ask for even more quality for any feature
I guess many of us already played Skyrim with enough high FPS.
If I still boot this game, it's only for using ENB features to their fullest.
