Re: TES Skyrim 0.414

Boris - Can you add something like "InteriorEnable", "ExteriorEnable" for the wet effect? I actually wanted to use this effect only indoors, so enable it all the time, even for exteriors, with zero values, is a waste of performance, as I suppose.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414

No, effect is not used if ReflectionAmount*** set to 0, so those parameters can be simulated this way.

Boris
Did you definitely dropped the idea for volumetric clouds ?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414

Activity of old skyrim version players on this site is lowered much, seems game is too old to bother with some complicated features. Very few know that i added wet surfaces effect and even particle lights, people don't care about news page here. So i doubt investing weeks to some exotic feature worth it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414

I always update folks on nexus, Discord, and flickr on news from here but hard to know how many people are really interested. I find most are as long as some one else does the work of implementing them (meaning they like new effects as long as some preset author sets it all up for them).

Rudy (Guzio) is also spreading the word as I see his posts on Nexus a lot.

Ah well I know I enjoy them along with the folks I hang out with. I haven't had time to update all my presets officially though. Right now I tweak as I play the game with my personal copies.

Yes. That’s a point... but I can tell you Oldrim still haves a very strong audience and a lot people preferring it to SE, seeing some’s reactions when knowing I was working on updating my presets.
But I guess doing volumetric clouds is something very time-consuming for many reasons, especially bugs chasing with this game.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.414

Old skyrim is much better at implementation clouds cause i fixed alpha objects problem long time ago, so i dont care of bugs.
