The sky mesh in Apocrypha is affected by the FIRE parameters. Any ideas what could be tweaked in the NIF to prevent this? Here's a screen cap of the shader properties and the alpha properties.

Try setting the transparency to use standard blending (4333). This will probably change how the sky looks, though, so you will likely need to adjust other properties as well like emissive multiple.

Not sure anymore but I think I did implement the fix into the particle patch.
