Re: TES Skyrim
Its not a daft question, I had to ask the same thing here and some helpful people game me the console commands.spameroo wrote:Really retarded question: how are people taking such close-up screenshots of their characters' faces? I've tried a couple ini tweaks but couldn't figure it out. So many people post those types of images, so I figure there must be something stupidly obvious that I'm missing...
open the console '`' and type.
TFC to free the camera or TFC 1 to free the camera and freeze character animation.
SUCSM controls the speed of the camera 1 is the slowest [SUCSM 1]... this allows you to get nice and close, with control, to avoid clipping into your character.
You need to zoom out from your character first if you want to see him/her in free mode.
Oh, and TM removes the HUD... Hope this helps.
@Unreal... great to see some landscapes from you, they're stunning.
@kalicola... shame your having issues completing your animation, as it looks incredible... hope you get it sorted.
@Opethfeldt - eldyraen - Maken1 very cool shots indeed.
...And I think it would be a bloody shame if anyone leaves here... can we please just respect each other and what they do without the sniping and harsh retorts.

Re: TES Skyrim
spameroo: You also need to change the field of view on the camera to get those nice zoomed in images. In the console type in "fov 50" or "fov 30" or something like that.. to change it back to default again type in "fov 70"... Personally I play the game using fov 85, and for character screenshots I use fov 50
On a site note
I'm using this picture by trilleville as background wallpaper on my computer at work (now that my home computer is dead). It might be the bedst image I have seen in this thread yet.. TV do you perhaps have it in 1080p or something like that?

Re: TES Skyrim
Not quite - I'm using Matso's enbbloom.fx and enbeffectprepass.fx with HD6's enbeffect.fx. Come to think of it, I've actually used the same enbeffect.fx since the very first Mindflux ENB.kalicola wrote:Mindflux: Thanks. So you are using matso's enbbloom.fx and HD6's effects.ini? Meaning that you are not using matso's new depht of field? Right?
I can later send you the files if you want to see how my modifications work with your setup, although I guess they're not gonna be any good if you're stuck with no computer for now. Hope you get the problems sorted out soon enough.

Haha, that video is awesome.
@Opethfeldt: Your config looks better and better since v6 I love it. I'm looking forward to your next release.

Re: TES Skyrim
