TES Skyrim 0.444

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim (TES Skyrim, Скурим свитки)

Graphic mod ENBSeries / patch ENBoost

Added multiple passes support to enbeffect.fx shader. Added EnableHighResolutionBloom parameter to enbseries.ini which force bloom size to be 1024*1024 (may not compatible with some presets). Added BloomSize variable to enbbloom.fx and enbeffect.fx shaders. Replaced enbbloom.fx shader by slower and higher quality version with tweakable parameters.

Will check out the updated binaries, as I got a new rig set up and trying to optimize my existing preset.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.444

Hi Boris,

I noticed something unusual. I use the "Extra Smooth High Poly Mesh" mod and with the new version 444 or the firts NMS version 434, which has normalmap shadows I lose 12FPS. With SMIM I lose 6FPS. With version 433, without NMS I lose 5 FPS with Extra Smooth and 2FPS with SMIM.

Please tell me what can generate such a high SPF consumption?

Thank you for your attention.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.444

My mod do not depends from number of polygons of the meshes, so performance problem is something on game side or (must likely) gpu/driver side. In new versions performance loss if higher because quality setting (middle became low, high become middle, so on) is increased for detailed shadows even if nms disabled, so you need to reduce quality to have the performance as it was earlier.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.444

Thank you. Skyrim seems to have a life of its own. I removed the current driver, installed a version a year ago and recovered the 12 FPS. It worked for a day. I suddenly installed the Havok Fix and it dropped to 30 FPS. When I uninstalled it, it went back to losing 12 FPS. I don't understand anything anymore ... lol
