Well, something very odd had happened and the file was completely wrong so no wonder odd glitches would occur. I had a hdd failure on the drive where the PP contents were stored at, which might be related.

Anyway, should be fixed now.
That's done it - thanks mate, you're a legend!

I believe the same issue impacts the 28/02/2020 version, though I'm not sure how commonly that one is used. On Nolvus we use your latest ENBPP together with Window Shadows (with Dimmer Light Beam option in the FOMOD) and they play quite nicely.

Cheers!

Thanks, great to hear the patch is still useful. I will check the older version, like you suspected it most likely has the same issue since the faulty file was from late 2019.

If you do spot something else please feel free to let me know and I'll take a look when I have time.

Hi, Saw this today in Wolfskull Ruins..
doesn't appear to be in your collection

ms06potemasummon.nif

adding an alpha test to the sparks cleared it up for me

mindflux wrote: 05 Feb 2021, 06:28 Yes, Boris is correct. The ENB helper is an SKSE plugin created by aers that adds necessary functions that ENB weather system requires.

The plugin in this patch changes some things to help ENB detect the time of day but like stated, it's not necessary when you use the ENB helper because then the time of day will be always correct anyway.
Hi. Quick question. Is there anything else contained in the PP plugin besides time of day detection? Thanks!

I started using the plugin again recently because as far as i know..
the edits made to the interior lighting records (show sky etc) are necessary to get windowlight interior controls working in certain places.

Of course if you have a heavy load order you'll want to go through each record by hand to make sure everything's correctly bashed. Fun :)

I have it bashed. But ENB Helper is a SKSE.dll, so it is hard to check for conflicts.

Quick bump for visibility to mindflux, as there *appears* to be things in the PP plugin besides tod detection.. Thanks.

True, there seem to be a number of effect fixes that I had already forgotten about. It looks like they're not being used though.

There's also one minor fix to a tundra transition near Whiterun.

Thanks, @mindflux, So I decided to keep the PP plugin (even if I am using ENB Helper. I see no harm, except redundancy). I also added to my BASH patch, as described above. In game results seem good.
