Here's a modified mesh that should do what you want:

@Mindflux: Thank you. I gave that a try but still seeing a drastic increase in brightness once ENB upper left notification vanishes and the main menu choices appear.

@Boris: Thanks for your reply as well. Understood.

Menu mod I am using (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/46475) must use some other method. I just tested with the vanilla menu and it is hardly noticeable so it's something specific to the menu replacer mod.

Just so you know what I mean:
ENB v4.54:

ENB v4.60:

I can live with it as it is - it's only a menu and I don't spend much time there. I was just surprised by it. :o

Thanks for the replies and as always, for ENB.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.454

First of all, i did impovement for vanilla game loading screen. Second, i didn't turn off previous code of loading screen detection, but added extra new one which deactivating mod same as when worldmap is detected, so in no way should be difference in worse. I don't have logical explanation for this issue.

Yeah, must be something to do with the implementation of that menu replacer. I should have reverted to vanilla menu and checked first, sorry about that.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.454

Maybe your screenshots are flipped by versions? Or brighter one is the same as vanilla? I don't see any other explanation.

It's hard to put into words. I thought it changed with 0.454 but I was mistaken, behaviour changed with 0.460:

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.454

And again, what you show on screenshots looks like they are flipped for me, because i just added new code without removing old one. I can only try restore one old thing about it, when i disable effects if past frame was detected, while in more recent code disable if past frame and current frame detection occur. But if that not helps, then you simply treat effects applied in older versions as vanilla. I will do silent update in 10 minutes, so download and report.

I did and it is noticeable, but much less perceptible with vanilla menu. Tested a few different ENB configs to rule that out as well.

Thanks Boris but it made no difference on my end. Let's just consider this what it is; a problem with the menu mod (or something in my load order) and not an ENB concern - the increase in brightness is barely noticeable to me on the vanilla menu. It's not affecting actual game play that I have noticed, so it's probably not worth spending any more of your time on, though I don't mind testing if you do want to figure it out. I do appreciate you taking the time to do so, thank you.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.454

The code is the same between 0.452 and 0.460 by toggling off, except that it adding extra test for mesh and if found, force disable mod like world map do. I can't imagine any reason why brightness is higher then.
