Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
sorry to bring this topic back from the 0.473 thread, but take a look at these screenshots. Right here I'm looking away from the sun (coc whiterun at gamehour 17.5). I am using EVLaS which makes the sunlight come at a more dramatic angle, and looking away from the sun at times like this make the grass appear extremely bright and unnatural. turning the direct lighting down per time-of-day would be amazing.
Another solution that would be cool is if there was a "only react to point lighting" option. having the grass react to point lighting is a game changer

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Grass looks absolutely fine and natural. Landscape do not, because it's flat, while irl is full of small bumps which get lit. Turn off complex grass if you don't have proper grass normals, because i can't just turn off lighting for grass and restore vanilla one, because it have no sense in making complex grass at all. Definetly just for point lights i would never do it. I don't know how to "fix" this. Remove directional light or significantly reduce it? Then what to do with mods which have proper grass normals? You have to choose something, i just gave possibility to do things right.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Hi. I've saw there is a new feature "grass collision" but at first i didn't noticed anything (and no new options in menu about it).
Now i saw new update that says - "Updated ENBSeries 0.474 for TES Skyrim without version change. For first person mode grass collisions push more."
I've updated dll's, and checked it again, and I'm certainly see that NPC's and Creatures bend grass, and me in 3rd person view, but not in FP view for some reason.
Do i miss some condition for it to works?

This is not 0.474 topic. Anyway, i don't know what to suggest about first person problem, cause works for me. Maybe you have some conflicting mod.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info on the ground texture. I'll look into making it match the grass instead of the other way around.
Really awesome stuff on the grass regardless. It looks amazing. The collisions are super cool

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
oh wait, 474 it was for LE?
It working for you with vanilla game? Because i don't have any mods that somehow modify first person or animations, or models of bodies or something like that.
Actually my thought was that this require that mod which adds full body to First Person view, which i don't use, but if it suppose to working with vanilla game, it's mean that was wrong thought.
ps I'm using AE, nvm about 474, i just didn't noticed latest update was about LE, I'm using SE version of ENB
pps
It's seems i don't see grass bends if i look directly down (Even if i look directly down), but if i walk few steps and then look behind, I can see how grass unbends behind me. Seems to when I'm in FP mode grass bends not under me, but behind my back for some reason.
I don't know what ENB uses to determine where grass should be bent (i guess just actor position, or geometry, i dunno) so i can't even debug it, and google gives nothing.
ppps
nvm, I'm see it's working now, in other place on other taller (than previous i guess) grass

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Maybe you have properties of grass which make it too much inertial, that's why it is bended too slow and you cant see while moving?

Version updated, download again
Added shadows from point lights to the complex grass to fix bright grass for interior locations. Fixed dark vegetations at some camera angles for interiors.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Hi again.
Which property you mean? Something in INi's? I can check.
I have verdant installed, it may have it's own grass ini file
but I'm note sure which settings can affect this effect, i thought those settings mostly about density of grass and maybe there is some settings about wind.
ps
at last this grass point light problem was fixed, i hoped some day to see this fix
thanks for you work
