Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Well, I was just asking to be sure. Actually I do have a custom main menu (self made) and I like having effects active on this. (Specifically made it so that it uses ENB effects. I'm using animated 3D elements on the main menu and without the effects they look really dull and flat. Very ugly) And I'm not the only one with this kind of menu.
Is it somehow possible to continue having the effects on the custom main menu while using the latest ENB ?
There is a huge difference. Turning these effects off might be a good idea for menu backgrounds with flat image, but not for the menu backgrounds with 3D elements. (Especially the animated 3D elements)
Examples:
Effects off:
Effects on:

I have to agree with anubis, I would really like to keep the effects on my start- and loadingscreens so it would be great if it would possible to do that (turn them off/on manually perhaps?)

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Can't you just open enblocal.ini instead of post here walls of text?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
There was info that the effect is disabled, not that it can be switched on and off. There's a difference.
This option is not in the enblocal.ini until I update the ENB and run it once. But I did not dare to update before it's clear how can I enable the effects on these menus. So yeah - opening enblocal.ini did not help.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Bullshit, this option is there for several years.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Are you kidding ? How can it be there several years ? You just released it.
I'm afraid there's been a misunderstanding.
We're talking about what's changed with the latest release.
Straight from the news page:
26 july 2022
Updated ENBSeries 0.475 for TES Skyrim SE without version change. Disabled effects for custom game menu screens.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
So, IgnoreLoadingScreen parameter is for what? Did i write in changes log "added parameter IgnoreCustomLoadingScreen"?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.475
Info about the newest release is: "Disabled effects for custom game menu screens"
I asked: "What exactly are custom game menu screens ? Are these the modified replacements for the main menu, before loading into the game ?" <talking about the screen that's on the pictures I posted.
You answered "Yes"
My next question was: "Is it somehow possible to continue having the effects on the custom main menu while using the latest ENB ?"
You said it's in the enbseries.ini and it's been there for years.
Well, it's not - we were obviously talking about different things. I'm NOT talking about the IgnoreLoadingScreen parameter, I know it's in the enbseries.ini
I'm talking about this: "Disabled effects for custom game menu screens"
Since I asked if this was the main menu and you answered yes, all the further discussion from my behalf has been about the main menu.
If you say that the main menu and loading screens are the same, then what does this "Disabled effects for custom game menu screens" do ?
(It can't be the same thing as the IgnoreLoadingScreen parameter, because as a new thing, it must be something else.)
