Thanks all - glad you liked. My ENB is coming, but first I want to make sure it's exactly as I want to.
@eldyraen: Great to see you got your setup up and running, always a great moment! And thanks, no special tricks going on I guess - I think it's just a matter of my carefully balanced setup. I think I'm now using dungeon textures from the official high resolution pack supplemented from a couple of ones from Realistic Overhaul (
here). I'm also using my own Dark Dungeons to prevent the nights from going too dark. As for tweaking, one thing I've learned is that when making changes, ALWAYS go back if you can't exactly pinpoint what happened or if you're not sure whether you like the change or not. I've ruined many setups by just manically adjusting values and not thinking.
@DogStar: Right then, those controls will solve your adaptation problem as HD6 used quite heavy static adaptation, probably because of his intense bloom. It's really a matter of preference, but I usually go and adjust the toobright multiplier on the second row, underlined here:
color.xyz *= 1-(1.0 * toobright); // 1.3. Reduce the value to lower adaptation strenght, as simple as that.
