Noticeable grid on the character face, also sometimes visible in shadows. What would be the best course to get rid of it?
I've tried a few things myself. UseSelfIntersecting seems to get rid of it at least in that example, but I don't know if I should be using it since it was off in the preset I used.
EnableComplexFilter seems to make it better, turning it from a grid moving around the face, to a few shadowy splotches, so not in its entirety.
I've did some googling and found an old post where it was said that this issue comes from low quality AO, but I don't see any settings to increase the quality besides Sampling quality, and that does not do anything for the issue, I have tried already.

Re: ENB SkyrimAE AO noise issue
Size of render target used for ao/il matters the most, but performance suffer a lot from it. So if you want less noise, increase size by parameter ResolutionScale. Also some presets use ao in external shaders and people complain about noise, that's not under my control.

Re: ENB SkyrimAE AO noise issue
Can't seem to be able to post a screenshot of my game, getting the "You can’t post image, email or url links that are external to this domain. Please remove *domain*" error.
So I would need to crank up Resolution Scale then above 0.5? How bad of an fps hit it would be? Or would it be just better to use SelfIntersecting at that point?

Re: ENB SkyrimAE AO noise issue
I can't give you answers, this depends from hardware. But 1.0 value is 4 times slower than 0.5, generally.

Re: ENB SkyrimAE AO noise issue
Got it, thanks. Ended up getting a different preset that didn't have the issue.
