Re: TES Skyrim 0.139

I have installed 0.139 today, and while the userconfig now seems to work fine, I'm noticing an odd color shift and a level of brightness that I have not seen before. Interiors, including dungeons, are much, much brighter, and nights are so bright they almost look like day. I didn't need to use a light spell or torch at all in my last dungeon - it was bright as day in there. And the night sky (exteriors) has a very distinct aqua shade to it. The day lighting seems a bit lighter and somewhat faded, but nothing like the difference in the night & dungeon lighting. Has anyone else seen this? I didn't see it in the earlier versions (0.136 and earlier). See screen prints below.

version 0.139, Exterior night time (midnight) - very bright and with a distinct aqua tint to the sky

version 0.136, Exterior night time (midnight) - normal looking night

Image

version 0.139, Exterior day time (noon) - looks slightly faded overall - mountains in the background are very faded

version 0.136, Exterior day time (noon) - more normal looking day

Re: TES Skyrim 0.139

You need to adjust your day/night detector settings, and probably adaptation.

Thanks for the update!
New smoother transitions is very good and I like it.

But now, NightDayFactor does not match with enbeffect.fx.
I think "Day" And "InteriorDay" is reversed.

I'm sorry for I'm not good at writing English :(

Re: TES Skyrim 0.139

Couple things to report this time...

First off there seems to be some change between v0.138 and v0.139 that causes night outside to become desaturated and color shifted to be sort of darker and muddier I guess you could say. Here's a sample:

v0.139 vs v0.138 night:
http://www.iparadigm.org/images/pnenb/139/night139.html

At the same time, interiors now seem the opposite, being over contrasted and much brighter overall:

v0.139 vs v0.138 interior:

Loading screens also looked better with the detectors they were using in v0.138, having now the same effect as interiors, brighter and more contrast.

I could adjust around it but to me the effect seems a bit overpowered and so I suspect a bug instead. I tested and adjusting color balance does not work at night, leading me to suspect as others have that there is a mismatch of "Night" and "InteriorNight" perhaps?

v0.138 was, to me, just about perfect.

Perhaps you could leave up previous versions a few ticks back just in case someone's mix might work better an a different one? Up to you.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.139

Long time lurker, and much appreciated user or your enb series Boris! I was hoping you or someone can help with the blurring I am getting up close in 0.139. It's like it's working in reverse, not blurring the background but the foreground. I haven't had this issue until using this newest release. Clean install of enb, no other files but the vanilla enb 0.139. Images below of whats happening. Is there a setting that I'm missing??

It looks like you enabled DOF with the default enbeffectprepass.fx that came with the ENB package.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.139

I am not seeing changes when I update enbeffect.fx file while in windowed mode.

Sorry, replied in hurry... It's totally fine to use the enbeffectprepass.fx you used earlier or one from the presets. If by not running smooth you mean that you get framerate hit, that sadly how it works, DOF is pretty taxing. To help with the performance you can, for example, disable bokeh, check inside the enbeffectprepass.fx for configuration options.
