Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

Whew, 0.229 still shows Caustics. Thanks.

So, seeing this under water is too difficult due to Skyrim's limitation then?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

As expected .229 working for me and some, others failing.
My game runs, all effects work like a boss.

I feel sad Boris.
But i only root for something that works for things i do. Fortunately products i use never betrayed me. It all ended up in my own foolishness of other software or settings in OS that i make. Once i fix those nothing is problem anymore.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

As you said, all works perfect with last generation Nvidia cards/drivers. (770 + last 331.40 beta)
Didn't notice any difference compared to 0.228 in matter of performance.
I messaged author of WATER mod (saw you did too ;) ) for him to do required modifications for Parallax to work.
I greatly admire your willing to fix all issues for all users. That's Titan's task.
No ass licking.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

I use Pure Waters and the author of that mod just put up some experimental textures for ENB parallax.

I'll try to find the issue you have, may be reading time from sun data have higher priority than helper plugin.
Boris, I know you've been busy with water and hardware issues of late, but I was wondering if you've had a chance to look into the enbhelper.dll and ToD issue that I mentioned in the 0.227 thread. If you'd rather focus on other issues, I can bring it up later.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

As has been stated before, 7000 series owners seemed to be able to run 0.228 fine. 0.229 runs fine as well. I have no issue loading up Skyrim and Water effects are working fine.

I tested on my R7950 with 13.4, 13.10 beta 2, & 13.11 beta, and had no crashes. So there's no driver related issue here.

I can't complain about an issue that isn't there, in respect to this specific issue being raised (crashes).

The only issues I can report so far are:

Not being able to edit the majority of parameters of the GUI with the helper plugin installed.

Not being able to toggle Dispersion or Caustics via the GUI enablers without the helper plugin installed. Other parameters for Water in the GUI seem to work fine.

Enabling V-Sync in enblocal.ini causes microstutter and decreases average framerate. Disabling V-Sync and running V-Sync through Catalyst Control Center with Triple Buffering results in a smoother experience and a higher framerate.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229

WATER mod is being soon updated to support parallax, and its author has already released an experimental texture on his thread.
Tried it, adopted it :)
