Re: Fallout 4 0.284 beta

EDIT: Nevermind, I wanted to know if "UsePatchSpeedHackWithoutGraphics" had to be set to "False" to use ENB's new features and now I know it should be.

Re: Fallout 4 0.284 beta

Hi Boris,

Not sure exactly what I should bee testing (I am not qualified to test external shaders in enbeffect.fx) but I am able to use 0.284 without any issues in gameplay so far. I am able to toggle on and off the following in the ENB menu and I can see the difference in the game:

UseOriginalColorFilter=true
UseOriginalBloom=true
UseOriginalAdaptation=true

Modifying the following two values in the ENB interface has no visible effect on the game, though I guess these require some alternate processing code to be applied in enbeffect.fx?

UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=false
UseOriginalPostProcessing=false

I will test if I can still document any performance difference with only changing UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics to true and false, will report back here.

Re: Fallout 4 0.284 beta

Make sure "UsePatchSpeedHackWithoutGraphics=false" before you can toggle it on and off properly. I also no difference. The only difference I see is when I use "UseOriginalColorFilter" which makes the image darker when set to false.

This is a beta after all. Maybe we should be testing performance, not the visuals?

@Monarch X

I think you misunderstand, I am not reporting any bugs or problems with the mod or with the visuals. In fact, I think my report confirms that everything is working correctly with the beta release.

Kobalk
Cursor problem is not a bug, it's game forcing it to be in there. Gui dependency from "tm" i see myself too, gonna check that.

MonarchX
UsePatchSpeedHackWithoutGraphics=false must be set for graphics.

All parameters, except UseOriginalObjectsProcessing, UseOriginalPostProcessing, shows if shader works properly. Game have a lot of shaders which are toggled depending from video options and in-game situations, i tried to find all combos, but for sure missed something (like some interiors in Skyrim haven't detailed shadows for long time).

Re: Fallout 4 0.284 beta

Hi Boris, found one bug with the Pip-Boy screen (in-game wrist menu thing) and all other 'green screen' computer monitors. With ENB enabled, the green appears to 'glow' too much, and is over-saturated and difficult to view. In particular, notice the image of the guy on the right side in the screenshots (though really all the text becomes difficult to read...).

First, with ENB ON:

Now with ENB OFF:

Thanks. Game uses additional mask texture in post process shader and i was unable to find where it bypass image, so that was pipboy. Probably better to not include it in to enbeffect.fx and make as separate drawing overlay, simpler for users at not big performance impact.

Re: Fallout 4 0.284 beta

From the little I have stopped to look after any perceivable bugs related to ENBSeries, I have yet to find any. Though missed the PipBoy visual difference, so might have missed something else, we'll see.
Also no issues with ReShade (hooked in or not) in combination with ENBSeries.
Shaders, as far as I can tell, works as they should with the content available currently.

Nvidia driver version: 358.91
No extra utilities from the Nvidia installer, just the drivers.
