While I was testing my mod, I noticed when I looked down at the ground, grass shadows appeared very suddenly and were "stretchy" and had artifacts, it got more aliased/artifacty the further I looked down.

Disabling detailed shadows and SSAO did not do it, I forgot to test skylighting by itself, though I turned off all effects and went away. While I'm glad the grass had shadows at all, they were kind of erratic/jumpy. I'm not sure if this has always been this way or not.
The new particle effects in my mod certainly thank you! They were dark grey before (with my preset).
(That is at values of ~2.0 for intensity/contribution, since turned it down some)
Particles don't receive shadows, but that's an engine limitation that can't be solved, at least those that have alpha effects. Though "Receive Shadows" is a shader flag in the NIFs. Anyway, now I don't have to make whole new FX files just for ENB users. So thanks!
I'm testing for interior SSAO and again for the savegame thumbnail bugs now.
Edit: Still have the thumbnail image bug. I don't mind it. Kind of like it. Of course due to the nature it can only occur during an autosave between interior and exterior so it's not a big deal to me.
Edit2: My SSAO appears to work fine indoors and out, with or without skylighting enabled. MT0 for exteriors and MT1 for interiors.
Edit3: I realized that dungeon/area the person is in may be marked as an exterior by the game. I don't know how you check for this, but that may be a reason.

Tested several versions, with skylighting enabled all versions 0.126 and above are broken. In process fixing that.

hi,
is it normal to have this result with default parameters?
effects enabled enb 0.131
effects disabled (same time)

Really? It's not broken for me..... I can provide images if you'd like. I keep skylighting enabled and toggle SSAO on and off, and I can definitely see a difference. If I disable skylighting, and toggle SSAO on and off, I see the same difference.ENBSeries wrote:Tested several versions, with skylighting enabled all versions 0.126 and above are broken. (This is with MT1... Maybe this is why we got into a long argument over MT0... It was actually broken. I will test MT0 now.)
That's what it looked like for me. Turn the night fog settings down. And increase the night sky brightness (esp horizon).roha2000 wrote:hi,

I posted pictures of Skylighting affecting interiors in 126 thread before. Maybe this is why I don't always see SSAO values?jonwd7 wrote:Really? It's not broken for me..... Damn, i don't understand what is wrong. First i tested skylight affect in 0.131 and found issue, thn 0.126 the same, but 0.125 not have it. Now restored some code and recompiled 0.126, but is gone, but to make sure 100% i started version 0.131 again and can't see any problem. Also at the first time i saw some kind of pattern from reflections enabled, like they not drawed and data of their textures is just a "quad color noise" from video memory. Hope reboot will help to find where the problem is, but such error is a big headache.

I don't understand what to look at? Overall bright night or "roof in fire"?

Exactly, this is what needs to be done with it, to provide the default parameters that would not make the picture worse than the original but better than this. However, this is only a small inconvenience.jonwd7 wrote:Really? It's not broken for me..... I can provide images if you'd like. I have the game save thumbnail bug now. Still using 130.
This is what triggered it...
I was using skse_1_06_05 before. Today I installed skse_1_06_06. First autosave after install, I see the thumbnail like unreal

I have 1_06_05 and have the issue. It's not because of your update.chan wrote:I have the game save thumbnail bug now. Still using 130.

Overall bright night. ENBSeries wrote:Damn, i don't understand what is wrong.
