(btw do you know a way to get AAuroras base config to work in Lost Alpha ???...)
Any news on making an ENB work with the Lost Alpha? Really want to play this game but the jaggies I am getting on the grass are just horrible. Going to try to play with alpha test MSAA in game settings when I get home in a few hours. Does anyone have any ideas to smooth out the grass or foliage in general? I do not recall this game ever looking this way. I am running an Nvidia 660 at default driver setting the last drivers before the ones introduced couple weeks back. (Sorry, at work)
I would be ecstatic if I could just smooth some of this out and jump right into the game. When I checked out Crysis 3 I thought the same thing about the grass that it sucks and is an eye sore. Is there something wrong with my head? It's almost like the screen door effect DLP projectors can produce when you are sensitive to them.
Hope I am making sense. Thanks my friends!
You are making sense,
The latest build of ENB specific to stalker (v0.0176 beta) will work on any stalker dx9 installation, ( not 100% with CS & CoP, still testing atm myself)
It will work as long as no other shaders are running, as you may know to get AA2 enb to run the r2 shaders need to be disabled (by deleting or renaming r2 folder)
Mods like Lost Alpha and Stalkersoup run through database files and the shaders are controlled from there and can't exactly be disabled, I do not know how.. but anything that is based via the "gamedata" folder then ENB will work for that.
I am working on a project to test ENB on as many mods as I can, I'll be posting it up on Moddb, I'll be adding custom settings pallettes and constantly testing with new and old mods.
