Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

Sorry for my english :) not ym native language.

You mention ''Sky lighting to work correctly require rendering objects to shadow, so edit manually following lines in file SkyrimPrefs.ini:'' in 0.168 ENB description. What lines do we need to change ?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

You missed them by well a mm, just under that text are the lines of code you need to make sure you have set appropriately;

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1

bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1

and if you are using an ENB version after 0.119

these should be set to 0

iMaxAnisotropy=0
iMultiSample=0
bTransparencyMultisampling=0

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

iMaxAnisotropy=0
this is not correct, anisotropic filtering do no broke anything, on the contrary it's recommended to be 16.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

Well I forgot to mention to activate it in the enbseries.ini instead. Which makes it adjustable in-game for any users who want or need to turn it down or up.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

Spent entire night and half of the day to rename variables to make them ready to multiweather and per time setting. I'm still not sure how the best organize architecture of new configs, but can't think any more on this problem (hard even to decide sunrize-sunset vs morning-evening naming). The simplest solution as i see now is to keep enbseries.ini almost unchanged with day/night/interiorday/interiornight parameters and when new standart activated in enbseries.ini, then use files from folder with only parameters replaced, which initially have per time of the day separation. Each two weather types (current and outgoing) from their own ini will be interpolated by transition between them (helper mod read that data) and then per time of the day interpolation occur, so each weather do not have unique time of the day parameters like beginmorning, beginday, etc. Every weather declared as parameter of config with multiple variables for it Weather0001=000081a; 0010a243; , but this method have an issue, the same weatherID for different declared weathers, the mod will not work properly if weatherID dublicated (first one will be used). If weather not declared, from default file it's used. If helper mod not installed or not work, enbseries.ini used.
The time of the day interpolator is in enbseries.ini or in own similar config - not decided yet. In first case it can be confused, user don't see morning/evening (sunset/sunrise) parameters in enbseries.ini, except those under timeoftheday. Also i can extract the data from helper mod or from sun, but if from sun then it will not work when weather don't have sun set (interiors), so it's reserved method when helper mod not yet sent data (because of damn papyrus scripts).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166

Found the reason not to make per location id configs. Locations switched without any interpolation between presets, so if user enter the dungeon preset must be applied immediately (replacing weather preset), but if user travel between locations which aren't strict interiors, then only smooth blending looks good. This is uncontrolable, but it's good that i don't need to do extra job. May be in future per location id fixes will be made in Lua scripts, not sure if they are required so much, complexity grow by no reason.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.166
