For games without default AO support in CP, you should use Nvidia Inspector. Instructions

Complete 2009 have it's own shaders, which are incompatible (if i remember correctly) with ENB.
I've reinstalled AA2.1 with updated ENB yesterday, and enabled AO (using instructions from link above) without any problems.
PS for other games AO compatibility flags you can check this sheet
Thanks, but I already use NVidia Inspector with AO Enabled and set to High Quality as a general profile (so these settings apply to every game). AO settings, however, do not apply to EVERY game. Can you actually show AO on and AO off screenshots because I took some and there is NO difference. I also looked all over and many people confirm that ENB 0.0176 does not include SSAO/SSIL. Now MAYBE Autumn Aurora comes with SSAO shaders of its own? I don't know, but I don't see any AO. I see great dynamic shadows, unlike in the vanilla game, but the actual shading is not there.
Also, when you meant "following instructions" - did you mean NVidia Inspector instructions or editing ENBSeries.ini to include SSAO? Did you set STALKER AO to High Quality in NVidia Inspector or just to Quality?

Because default AO is working for only a small amount of games - most of them require from you to manually choose AO compatibility, which can be found in this sheet.

Autumn Aurora\Stalker ENB DOESN'T have AO at all. It should be forced in Inspector, with appropriate code value, which is 0x00000029. It is mentioned in this thread i gave you before.
It works and looks great now, although I am not getting the same type of image as I shown for Autumn Aurora (Official screenshots) but it could be the weather. I use both ENB with vanilla Autumn Aurora settings and SweetFX. My display is calibrated to 2.22 power-law gamma.
The BIGGEST problem with this ENB is ADAPTATION. It turns great scenes with deep blacks and high contrast and turns them into shallow bland grays. Disabling Adaptation makes things a lot worse, but there's got to be a way for it to NOT do its thing, right? What settings should I change - Sensitivity? Min? Max?
MonarchX wrote:Ooh! Now it makes sense - THANK YOU so much! Do you set AO to Quality or High Quality in NVidia Inspector?
Im using Quality preset, it have nice balance between image quality and performance.

I didn't mess with Stalker ENB settings at all, for 2.04 version i've used one of the brussells preset (with blue tint).
Well, i think it is variation of one of the brussells presets, he posted some screenshots with similar graphics ~1 year ago. It is good for screenshots, but i prefer blue tint version.
I don't think it is a simple variation. This one is dated 9.30.2015 and included ENB preset is identical to 2014 version, but the rest of the package has much newer files - from textures to shaders, to scripts, etc.
So you did not find ADAPTATION to be annoying? You can find yourself in a pitch-dark room and then you turn around and the room turns gray instead of black, loosing contrast and depth to it...

I have played till Pripyat in Autumn Aurora 2.04 + Brussels Blue Tint ENB 1 year ago, and i don't recall anything like this.
I've installed New Autumn Aurora 2.1 + New ENB few days ago, played ~20 min, run a bit around starting village, but didn't find anything weird as well.
The newest 2015 Aurora is nearly perfect! It doesn't have much of that black turning to gray, BUUT they butchered night-time, which is now very bright instead of nearly pitch-black... That sucks. Otherwise it looks amazing with ENB, NVidia HBAO, and ReShade!
Last time I played STALKER on Pentium M 2.4Ghz and 7800M GTX laptop with 4GB of RAM and Windows XP because Windows Vista would not run well at all. Now I have good rig (3770K @ 4.8Ghz + GTX 980 @ 1550/8000Mhz + SSD + Windows 10) and this is like a brand new experience, although I wish I could downscale from 4K DSR to 1080p without framerate dropping to 30's.
BIG THANKS to ENB creator once more!
