No, this bug has been bugging me since before any volumetric rays were introduced to the Skyrim SE ENBGuzio wrote:In-game volumetric rays, I guess.

Try to disable, reduce, the game volumetric rays (in the Enb UI), not these from enb.

That was it ! Thank you. Just had to reduce blue color under color filter for night. I never touched game volumetric rays before - makes everything too complicated. I feel like a fool.Guzio wrote:Try to disable, reduce, the game volumetric rays (in the Enb UI), not these from enb.
Only thing I don't understand is the reason I needed to adjust this at all. Is the night blue for everyone when not adjusting this filter ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.401
Well, after been busy, i had time to gather some screenshots(from videos) comparing "natural and realistic SSE ENBs" and "fantasy oriented SSE ENBs" vs LE ENBs of the same category.
*SSE ENBs
---natural and realistic---
-Pinacle Reality ENB: https://i.imgur.com/um7vgr5.png
-Semirealis ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/cVCKpQ3.png
-Silent Horizons ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/KS7k6PP.png
-Re-Engaged ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/U9yvZEM.png
---fantasy oriented----
-Intriguen ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/wtAI6EB.png
-Ominous ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/eqElHUZ.png
-Somber Phantasy ENB SE: https://i.imgur.com/sRi7rZu.png
-----------------------------------
*LE ENBs
---natural and realistic---
-Suki ENB with SKGE: https://i.imgur.com/hRxLj3O.png
-Suki ENB: https://i.imgur.com/Jm3k5Fv.png
-Vanilla Ice Cream ENB: https://i.imgur.com/yuvUIRo.png
---fantasy oriented----
-Grim and Somber Jyggalag ENB: https://i.imgur.com/AdkQlZF.png
-K ENB Pure Light: https://i.imgur.com/HfL1bFi.png
-Mistveil ENB Shades of Autumn: https://i.imgur.com/Mv5U1Cf.png
I do not intend to offend anyone or belittle their work, this is only to compare the different ENBs of both games.
So that´s why im asking if there is something to do to get more controls over the colours of the game to enhance all the SSE ENBs, because in my opinion, even the natural and realistic ENBs of LE looks even better than the SSE ENBs, and playing with the ambient and sky filters isn´t enough at least for what i´ve experienced testing them
But if there is nothing to do about that, i guess i´ll have to live with that.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.401
Old skyrim version and SE differ at such global visuals only by autoambient and i doubt most of those presets use it, most likely they are just for vanilla or custom weather mods (or made with particular dramatic weathers instead of just any). It's not a big deal to make directional ambient in creation kit to make it look similar to autoambient, but will be much faster. I did this for LE long time ago from just few attempts without reading any guides. There is no magic stick to press some button and to get great picture, even with global illumination it still matters what kind of lighting and colors are used. After all, it's not so difficult to convert shaders from old skyrim to se and see yourself it's the same thing if you turn off vanilla sun rays.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.401
I asked to Boris some months ago about ambient color filters. This feature combined with multiple weathers settings would really be great. But as he said, its hard to implement in SE and the perfomance impact would be too huge.because in my opinion, even the natural and realistic ENBs of LE looks even better than the SSE ENBs, and playing with the ambient and sky filters isn´t enough at least for what i´ve experienced testing them

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.401
Mirx - I wouldn't recommend to compare ENBs with videos only. They could show older versions of those presets and use different other visual mods (flora, weather, textures, LODs, etc) that can change the look of the game drastically, especially when comparing LE to SE.
Also, your definition of realistic and fantasy are a bit strange imo. Why choose Re-Engaged over NVT for a natural looking preset from fireman for example? Silent Horizons and Re-Engaged could fit the fantasy category almost as good as realistic, because they are a mix of both. And Fantasy != somber and gloomy, thats just one fantasy direction. And LUTs would be another option to add a movie or fantasy flair to your game really easily, as Rudy already mentioned earlier. A few ENBs come with a bunch of different LUTs already (Rudy or Silent Horizons) or you can add your own LUTs plus a LUT shader yourself (take a look at something like RevoLUTion for example).

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.401
Hi Boris! I noticed that with the latest version that EnableLocationWeather no longer works. I've had a large _LocationWeather.ini set up that I've been using for a while to load special configs for different interior types.
The last version I was using prior to 0.401 was 0.373 (I skipped a few updates due to being busy), so I'm not sure which update in between might have introduced this, OR if it's maybe a bug with ENBHelper plugin?
Let me know what you think! Thank you!
