Re: TES Skyrim

If anyone is interested I uploaded a preset on nexus
www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58516/?

But nexus site report my file is infected by virus (maybe because of sweetfx dlls).

I upload it here (without sweetfx dlls)

Love your config man! It looks so natural and the tweaked DoF fits in very good :)

Great shots as usual man!

I love it! I think the grain works perfectly well with the rest of your config. Very atmospheric.

I uploaded a new video testing some high settings for reflections and specularity for rain storms. You can wath it here if you're interested:

@Woods: The rain from that enb is always awesome, but what I really like is the wetness/fake reflection on your woodplanks.
How did you manage to get that and is there a way to get that also on the road?
Could it work with an environmap setting on real roads meshes? wait, looks like you are using parallax for the roads, but that doesn't make a difference.

Re: TES Skyrim

I'm glad you like it! It's basically just the settings for reflections and specularity. For this weather i used SpecularAmountMultiplier=12. It probably also depends on the specular maps of the texture pack i use. To make it work on the road you would probably have to edit the specular maps of the road textures. I'm not sure if that is possible or if it would look good during other weathers though.
I also don't recommend using my settings for reflections since it's a really heavy hit for the FPS :lol:

Re: TES Skyrim

Changing the speculars is quickly done in like 2-3minutes. If the multiplier for rainy weather is high enough, it would still look normal on normal weathers.
This would look cool.

Could somebody please recommend me a tutorial about weather tweaking? My knowledge there is yet embarassing.

It's easy. :) In the enbseries folder there's a _weatherlist.ini file, this is where you set your weather ID's and connect them with the corresponding .ini file which contains all the lighting and general settings.

So first:

Open _weatherlist.ini

Code: Select all

[WEATHER001]
FileName=xx.ini
WeatherIDs=xxxxxx
Fill this section with the appropriate stuff.
Example:

Code: Select all

[WEATHER001]
FileName=Clear.ini
WeatherIDs=81a, 10e1ee
Next, copy the enbseries.ini (many people do this as it is extremely convinient :P), and paste it in the enbseries folder. Rename the .ini to Clear.ini and it's set.
:)
