Re: TES Skyrim

@greybeardhenk: Downsampling all the way. Most of those really epic screenshots are in excess of 1600p resolution. Along with high resolution textures. You can also use post processing sharpening to get a certain look like. To add icing on top of the cake you also make sure to use high poly models which will smooth out certain objects even further.

The cheapest way is the post processing sharpen methods, like stuff in effect.txt or using sweetfx etc. however that will only get you so far. Just like with photo editing sharpen masks will only do so much for an image, and in most cases it will destroy more than it helps. Unless you are going for a particular sharpen style of shot, which can ofc. look really good. It is all about experimentation, but as a rule of thump, higher resolution will always get you furthest. There are lots of websites that explain how to do downsampling in very large detail so it should be easy enough to get started on.

Thanks! Love those sunrays ;)

I use downsampling (a lot - these are downsampled from 5320x2160) with a Lanczos filter via GeDoSaTo, plus luma-shapning and some additional sharpening in the ENB effect file

Re: TES Skyrim

What grass plugin's do you guys use please?

I'm using SFO and Unique grass & ground.

A lot of you have piles and piles of low level thick clover or other things matting mostly all the flat surface textures etc. I'm not into piles of knee height grasses and without much idea of CK I have to make do with the above. Any sugestions please?

Kind Regards

Yeah, the first shot is REALLY NICE!!!!
But the third is too "reddish" (for my taste)

Now, I set my ENB for multiple weathers with COT + Vivid Clouds!! Awesome!!! ;)
