Maybe the files are set to 'Read Only' in properties. Uncheck that.eloth wrote:maybe im a complete idiot but i did a clean install of enb 146, and when i start up game, and use the gui editor to make a preset and save it, and then quit and start up game again the "default" preset is used instead of the one i created.
I can see in enbseries.ini that my changes is in there. i use the injector version btw.
i also have game located in C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\

Perhaps path of saved config is changed by the game or some mod installed, find all enbseries.ini on your pc by it's creation/modification time, then copy to game folder, this is the only solution i know (walkaround, for each time you did changes with restarting).

By the way, I forgot to post that saves with 146 no longer crash to desktop. And then again I could not tell you if its the "old" 146 or something else in my setup. But The save game pictures gave a picture in a picture when this happened... I can't show an example atm

Re: TES Skyrim 0.146
hmmm, strange, the only changed enbseries.ini is in my game folder, which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\
but why will it not load the ini when starting? if i mess around in the gui editor and save, it saves correctly.
I think i must try to reinstall skyrim and see if that is helping.

This is a problem of windows 7 being discussed zillion times.C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\
NEVER INSTALL GAMES to Program Files in win7. Or have enough skills to remove system restrictions from this folder.
You may try to start injector from administrator's account(right mouse click - Run as...).

If someone wanted SSAO only in interiors would setting AOAmount=0.0 and AOIntensity=0.0 work and have no performance drop just like it wasn't enabled in exterior spaces?

I don't think so.... never tried it.Wolfstryder wrote:If someone wanted SSAO only in interiors would setting AOAmount=0.0 and AOIntensity=0.0 work and have no performance drop just like it wasn't enabled in exterior spaces?
But I'd say @first sight that only qualities, filter type, scales and range could intervene on performance itself, besides disabling CSSIL itself.
These parameters aren't separated, though, and I don't know if Boris COULD even separate them without making the code too complex or intensive...
If I remember well, he already answered to that somewhere in the forums.....
