Something seems to be wrong there, Autodetected size gives my 20,000MB memory for textures on my setup. I'm using driver 352.86 on Windows 7.
What driver version and Windows are you running?

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
Thanks Boris, ok now I understand my problem i think. Driver / some crapware is blocking my VRAM to be used by ENBoost.
I guess disabling Autodetect and type in more VRAM manually won't make a difference since I will use only the amount Autodetect finds anyways....
@Electricsheep: I am using Windows 8.1 and Driver 353.30 ... I don't how to find out whats going wrong for me.. Doubt reverting back to your slightly older driver will fix it... Windows 8.1 cant be the problem right???
EDIT: Doing some research currently... Might be indeed stupid Windows responsible.... It needs alot of RAM when VRAM is high because OS is written stupid... will try to give more virtual memory on SSD (I have set it very low) and see if Autodetect changes

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
I don't know the answer why vram is limited and is it os or just driver limiting. Not enough statistics reported (VRamSizeTest made for that) by users. Also i don't know how to adjust/remove that limitation, may be somewhere in driver files it's written. For example some win7 x64 users reported a lot of vram, but personally i have only 4 gb at same condition, but different videocard and it's physical vram size. One guy reported amount of vram for dx11 of vram+ram+swap size, summary about 120gb. Probably modders of drivers may know the answer, try to find contact of such person on guru3d

That limitation might be for all 32bit application... Im trying to figure it out currently... It might really be OS problem, don't think its driver....
@Electricsheep: How much page file (virtual memory) do you set? Thats important information for me as I have same RAM amount as you... or do you have it system managed? In that case, to what value is system setting it??
EDIT: When I do VRAM benchmark with MSI Kombuster which can fill up all 12 GB VRAM then I get warning from Windows 8 "not enough VRAM close application"... I had that warning before on a few occasions when many programs open, also during running Skyrim.
When i set pagefile very high (24 GB, hope my SSD wont die in a year ) The benchmark fills up the VRAM without problems and I dont get warning.
Autodetect still finds 4064 MB texture memory... this makes me crazy...
well tomorow Windows 10, new OS new luck... but doubt it will help

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
My page-file is system manged and it's currently 16,295MB.
I have no experience of Windows 8, but I have Windows 10 preview installed on another drive and my Skyrim doesn't play nicely at all with it which seems to be down to W10s memory management.
If you need Skyrim it might be worth picking up a cheep copy of W7 and setup a dual-boot - I've seen legit keys on sale for under £15

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
One last stupid guess: Could it be shared memory issue (->system RAM limitation)? I have 8 GB shared memory... But I dont see how this would affect memory detection
Boris, I guess Autodetect memorySize only considers VRAM, not system RAM, right?
EDIT: Nevermind, I guess shared memory doesnt get allocated, it only gets used when VRAM full what will never be the case for Titan X..

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
Games do not work with video memory directly as addresses, so doesn't matter is it 32 or 64 bit application. That limitation might be for all 32bit application
It's not dx9 then. When I do VRAM benchmark with MSI Kombuster
I don't know which shared memory issues exist, but for dx9 applications available vram is always shared memory amount, which is vram+ some ram selected by driver (and may be somehow limited by os too). May be i'm wrong and it's not named as shared, i just heard about this therm from other users, from my point of view definitions have different names (local and non local vram, summ of them sometime called texture memory).Could it be shared memory issue

Re: Loosing 100 FPS when i install ENB
My post about shared memory was brain fart sorry
Well I will wait for Windows 10 tomorow and if no difference I might try Windows 7 since it works for Electricsheep.... Maybe just something wrong in Windows 8 code, some directX missing or whatever, stupid OS. I can't think of any installed application I have that blocks VRAM from ENBoost
Thanks for taking time to answer me

Not just ENBoost, but any dx9 application have only 4 gb video memory available with this issue.I can't think of any installed application I have that blocks VRAM from ENBoost
