@Xilandro, im a gaming fun like you and i like pretty graphics (otherwise, what the hell im doing here? )
HOWEVER, as a customer and user i find F4 pretty good in terms of visuals. Most part of that immersion is art and level design. At the same time exteriors look great. And interiors for some unknown reasons a far behind.
Im not saying that tech behind that is top-notch.. we all understand that its not. But i simply cant say, that game looks bad. Thats not true! At the same time, i dont understand why would Bethesda say "we use brand-new PBR-lightning". I believe if they never say that, and just leave it as "a PBR-like approach" noone would ever complain.

Re: Fallout 4 0.280 patch
Version updated, download again
Added DisableFakeLights parameter to enblocal.ini to remove unrealistic back lighting for characters. Someone requested it here on the forum.
Regarding game graphics, i can say that Unreal Tournament 2007 (later named UT3) was stunning on screenshots and Fallout 4 kinda same, but without shadows. So difference is 7 years if compare to very top graphics of that period.
PS: finding more and more bugs of the engine and game which can't be classified as incompatibility, but pure ignorance of incompetence, talking about polishing the game is bullshit lie.

Re: Fallout 4 0.280 patch
Game looks bad mostly outside in the urban areas due to the pathetically poor building polycount(i mean some windows are just textures, even gta 4 had more detailed buildings) and VERY low res textures. Some interiors look cool, as well as the forested areas. Ive tweaked SSAO via ini file a bit, but the only thing possible as it seems, is to make it darker and larger. No options to make it higher res. Also, why the hell godrays are so fps greedy? Ultra puts my 770 to its knees, literally like minus 20-30 fps in the forest areas. High works beter, but it is pixelated.

Re: Fallout 4 0.280 patch
The other day I read part of an interview with Todd Howard. I don't typically entertain the notion that there's any truth to what he says, but one particular quote from him seemed like it had to be true as there's no other reasonable explanation for why they keep producing visual garbage and calling it gold. When asked if he ever gets time to play Fallout 4, he responded, "I don't think I could see it for what it is at this point."

Re: Fallout 4 0.280 patch
The only reason I bought FO4 was that I was sure Boris would turn it into the game it should be ( Graphic wise ).

Re: Fallout 4 0.280 patch
Seems game screenshots can't be disabled via config, don't know which key to map then instead of PrintScreen for enb screenshots. And this bug freaks me, without any ideas wtf:
