Boris, if you have time can you please consider adding this type of distance blur to the engine, I think skyrim is one of those games that really needs it to hide ugliness of LOD.
For what it's worth, DYNAVISION has an option for exactly that.
I've seen it but the change is so minor that it's better not to use it at all. Now, if we could apply the dof from enb - that would be a drastic change for sure.
What is the interaction between Ambient light settings as both AmbientLightingIntensityDay and Night affect both day and night? I am having a particularly hard time in balancing these values given they both affect every scene. I believe I first noticed this with the introduction of SkyLighting but am not exactly sure of the version.

Edge lightening is not realistic and looks ugly in Skyrim.

Edit dof yourself or find modified (it exist), i don't like such blurring, so will not do it soon.

All Day/Night parameters are interpolated, it is not discrete trigger. Background clearing color is what used as detection factor and parameters of interpolator are in enbseries.ini.
@Boris
Silicon Studio released their Yebis 2 Middleware (Luminous,Orochi 3 Engine) Trial SDK, it's a 100 mb SDK with libs 32/64 and samples of their HDR Lightning and Effects Processing, but it seems DX11 only. It looks like they start their rundown on the US and European Markets now

I'm not tracking changes, so can't reply completely. Bud blodd on weapons was less visible previously by amount of it, now it's not modified and still the same. If you ask, then you don't need this.
