Shadows in Skyrim are calculated "on cpu" the same way as any other game. Stop listening prehistoric bullshit, ok?
Guzio
Do you have that flickering on SLI enabled? Did you try without?
Anyway, i try to dig this myself, but don't see any reason for this bug to happen this time, it's purely driver issue with flickering.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.318
I've done a few tests, FPSLimit=60.0:
iPresentInterval=0(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=false(enblocal.ini), V Sync-default(drivers panel) - no flickering, screen tearing
iPresentInterval=1(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=false(enblocal.ini), V Sync-default(drivers panel) - no flickering, screen tearing
iPresentInterval=0(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=true(enblocal.ini), V Sync-default(drivers panel) - flickering
iPresentInterval=1(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=true(enblocal.ini), V Sync-default(drivers panel) - flickering
iPresentInterval=1(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=true(enblocal.ini), V Sync-forced(drivers panel) - perfect
iPresentInterval=0(SkyrimPrefs.ini), EnableVSync=false(enblocal.ini), V Sync-forced(drivers panel) - perfect
SLI disabled. Nvidia drivers 387.92

Guzio
iPresentInterval does not work in skyrimprefs.ini as far as i know. it has to be in skyrim.ini under display. (according to tests and step manual)
boris
new current release is fine for me. no stutter (and i am using the same ENB as guzio (rudy enb), same enblocal i think too therefore)
and autoambient on/off does not change fps anymore, for info
i am waiting for jafin to send me his ini and enblocal, maybe i can find something different for last approach that did not work.
or is the new approach just as good? (even if perverted...)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.318
So no bugs at all like in earlier versions? Fps is same for tests or some is better?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.318
For me fps is the same in all working versions, but I'v made only a short test.
I can test it more precisely.
EDIT: I've made a simple test, loaded a savegame, no camera or player movement, enb frame counter, in the test versions from 3 to 5 - 47 fps. (0,315 - 45fps)
