kalicola
Nice idea, but it will not work very well, or to be completely honest, at all, because almost every single weather type there is (and there are dozens, like you know) has wildly different values for ambient, sunlight and directional ambient, and to achieve pleasing results every single one needs to be set correctly. And it's not only those, since at least fog colour needs to get along as well. If you're interested, fire up CK and check it out yourself, all that stuff is not difficult to edit at all.

Re: TES Skyrim
I think what Kalicola is trying to get at is having a color picker intergrated into the GUI to let us set the colors we want but as stated by Boris and mindflux said it'll be impossible to do.
Or, to be technical, global radiosity that involves "color bleeding" on the lighting effect side of the atmosphere but I doubt it's going to happen with the engine that Skyrim is running under.

Can someone help me with the extremely bright snow? I figured it had something to do with my Specular, but to no avail.

Re: TES Skyrim
It's either a direct lighting or an ambient lighting problem.SpaceKebab wrote:

Speculation only affects the "shininess" of a reflective surface.

Re: TES Skyrim
I noticed this with the horse shadow on a screen shot from a while back. The shadow is green tinted.
Difficult to see here. I can upload better examples tomorrow.

But, I noticed that if I enable 'UseOriginalObjectsProcessing' then the shadows look normal tint.
I tried editing RGB values in enbeffect.fx, and I even tried a whole new file.
Any ideas where I should look for this in the code?

Re: TES Skyrim
Probably has to do with the ambient color for that weather/time of day. It will have the strongest effect on grass. I've noticed some really bizzare and random color choices for things that don't necessarily show up with default postprocessing but look weird and terrible with enb (red lightning for example). The only real solution in that case is to go in the CK and fix it.chan wrote:I noticed this with the horse shadow on a screen shot from a while back. The shadow is green tinted.

Butched ENB - but now no flickering or translucent textures.
mindflux -
Thanks for the reply.
I been tinkering and changing every thing I can get my hands on and narrowed it down to two ENB's I was happy with but between them they had there own faults in my eyes.
Wrapper - v0126
So used as base ENB :
Opethfeldt6 ENB by Opethfeldt
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18941
Changed sun rays and used enbeffectprepass.fx from :
Project ENB by Bronze316
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20781
I now have all effects on, SSAO + DOF.
NO FLICKERING reported, not translucent textures.
Running with an : i7 4.25mhz / GTX 670.
Driver : 310.70
FPS : 40 - 60 outside, 60 inside.
HD textures on everything I could get my hands on.
Settings on maximum candy.
(move post to skyrim should be in there)

Re: TES Skyrim
Mindflux. Yeah, I guess I have to go in CK and tweek it there... But that just opens up a whole new can of worms, that I really don't want to get into. I can see another year of my life dissapearing if I do so
Does someone have a DOF that does not blur things right infront of the camera, like first person weapons and such? Best one I've found so far is from SkyRealism, but that doesn't work right when using a bow
My skyrim crashes alot when I go into tfc 1 and fly around with the camera for some reason, so I don't take many screenshots at the moment, sorry.
