Wow, thanks so much joey! I never thought my image would be compared to something like dpeasant's or propa's shots I am so glad you like my shots, but of course you did most of the work already!
It's not just bloom settings I tweaked, it's actually my own bloom and postprocessing code, a little different than just changing the bloom settings.
I am still using your same unmodified enbbloom.fx, but instead of crisp bloom in the enbeffect.fx I am using my own design that I call Curve bloom, I think it is finished now.
The way I did it is probably harder to understand unless you know code but if you are interested I would be totally honored if you want to try my custom file with other modifications and new options,
or if you want and if you give me some time I can work on adding Curve Bloom to your original enbeffect.fx.
I am so glad you like it though, I wasn't sure if I was on to something or not. Just let me know if you want me to upload my file, or if you would prefer I try to add it to your own

Re: TES Skyrim
Oh cool. Which version of enbeffect are you using, Jawz' separated D-N-I joint? I tried updating my config to it but I had better luck with Lunella's fx file which I'm pretty sure is based off jawz' anyway. It would be cool to have more bloom options for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing your bloom changes with the rest of my enbeffect setts
Off topic, my co-worker says my new char looks exactly like a black Uma Thurman. I think he is right and now I need to find a
Kill Bill armor mod :p

Yes, my file is based off of Jawz' mixed enbeffect.fx. I think, it was the most versatile base to use for my code additions and contained lots of helpful code in it already that I reused, but I know everybody has a favorite to use. I will get right to work on adding the curve bloom to your file then Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard.
I never saw kill bill, but I think you have yourself a good character there

Right on. Well don't bend over backwards or anything! I wish I knew more about coding, I am an audio guy myself...

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks Kermles!! I really appreciate the positive feedback. Believe it or not, I'm quite frustrated with my config ATM. I tend to over tweak and run it into a cartoonish look when all I want is realistic / natural / damp fog. I'm going to start from my base again and retrace steps. The balance I want is characters that stand out while keeping the background very photorealistic and gloomy overcast , but vibrant! If the characters have a slight cartoonish look, I can live with it. In the end I want the character to look like it was seriously pasted from a seperate screenshot onto a photorealistic background. I've achieved this look before, but having trouble getting it back right now. As of now, it's probably my character that's throwing me off. She is extremely comic book style! It was fun at first, but now I need a character more vampire style to fit in with what I want for the rest of the ENB. That will bring out the flare I am looking for I believe!Kermles wrote: Far
I think your config is one of my all time favorites, and it only seems to be getting better! I think part of why I like it so much is because I spent a lot of time in Washington and it reminds me of home
Very good job on it and keep up the great work!

I know how easy it is to get your config turned into a cartoon if you aren't careful That is usually how anything I attempt ends up. However comic book looking your character is though, she looks great I really liked your other red haired character too.
I think if you are looking for photorealistic backgrounds, you are at least very close. I can only imagine how your config will look when you consider it finished, I will be waiting for the day Don't get frustrated though, if you think you are headed in the wrong direction try maybe to take a break and come back to it, then you might have fresh ideas on how to get it where you want it to go.

Don't worry, no bending over backwards necessary Everything went smoothly, it should be working all correctly. Let me know if something goes wrong. Also trust me, I don't know very much about coding, I just took a beginner's C++ course at a community college during highschool and read part of a book, and the book wasn't for HLSL either, so I am mostly clueless when it comes to doing stuff in ENB. I know just barely enough to get by I think Anyway, I hope you like the new bloom! If you have any suggestions for it, I would love to know.

Well, I screwed up big time. Meant to make a backup copy of my data folder and accidentally cut it instead of copied it. No loadorder backup or anything and it destroyed my SkyrimPrefs.ini. Ah, well. 'Tis a life of a Skyrim modder.
