While working on my personal preset for Fallout 4 I found these weird color artifacts when cloud shadows are enabled.
Here are some images, sorry for the large size:
My effects (enbeffect.fx & enbeffectpostpass.fx) + cloud shadows:
Vanilla effects + cloud shadows:
My effects without cloud shadows (or when the sky is clear):
These artifacts also do not occur when the effect is enabled but there are no shadows (clear sky), maybe it's a problem with how the shadows are being blended with surfaces?
They seem to make certain colors extremely exaggerated/lose accuracy, I've noticed some lights like those in the Diamond City entrance gain some banding artifacts as well.
The enb version is 0.323 and I have no in-game graphics mods.
Oh and SSAO also seems to have no effect on it.

Re: Strange colors with cloud shadows in Fallout 4
This is because of the way game draw ambient lighting, it is split in some places to several draws and i can only restore properly one ambient from the sky, why any extra produce error when i do reverse math to apply shadows or ssao. You can see this bug much when enable ssao at first home. I dont think its fixable, tried already different tricks to reduce artifact.

I see, what a shame because the effect is really nice, vanilla is too sunny all the time. Thanks for replying!
