Re: GTA 5 0.456
Has anyone noticed skylighting working incorrectly on RTX 30xx series? When skylighting is enabled, everything in shadows is just a bit darker. On the edges of shadows ambient lighting should be a bit brighter, but isn't. To understand what I mean, here are screenshots:
Skylighting on: https://i.imgur.com/UIbWa3U.jpg
Skylighting off: https://i.imgur.com/V3J3ZnI.jpg
Settings for skylighting effect look like:
[SKYLIGHTING]
IgnoreWeatherSystem=true
HighPrecision=false
Quality=1
AmbientMinLevelDawn=1.0
AmbientMinLevelSunrise=0.4
AmbientMinLevelDay=0.2
AmbientMinLevelSunset=0.4
AmbientMinLevelDusk=1.0
AmbientMinLevelNight=1.0
AmbientSkyMixDawn=1.0
AmbientSkyMixSunrise=2.5
AmbientSkyMixDay=2.5
AmbientSkyMixSunset=2.5
AmbientSkyMixDusk=1.0
AmbientSkyMixNight=1.0
The same bug I saw in 0.447 version and using different drivers. I've recently upgraded my PC. I had GTX 1060 before and skylighting worked fine, on RTX 3070 I see the bug. The GPU driver I'm using is 471.41.

Re: GTA 5 0.456
Sorry for the double post, but I figured out what is wrong with skylighting effect. It simply doesn't work when MSAA is enabled. It's strange and looks like RTX 30 specific issue, because I played the game a lot with MSAA and skylighting on my old gpu before and didn't see the issue. Just FYI. As long as I have 4K screen, I don't need MSAA.

Re: GTA 5 0.456
Maybe some other combination of game setting or cause game was updated. Try another shadow type maybe. Msaa fully supported by the mod.

Re: GTA 5 0.456
I just tried other shadow types and results are unexpected, at least for me. Skylighting works properly with MSAA enabled only when AMD CHS or NVIDIA PCSS is chosen. It doesn't work when using the original game's shadows. It doesn't matter if I choose sharp, soft etc. Thanks for your suggestion.

Re: GTA 5 0.456
Then maybe game was changed or you are using some graphic modification which change shaders

Re: GTA 5 0.456
Definitely the game was changed, because the problem is also observed in vanilla game.

Re: GTA 5 0.456
Ahh, i see what you mean. Effect is applied but do not looks correctly with msaa. So it's game shaders were updated and mod became incompatible.
