One more update regarding "GTX 970 memory bug". Wrote another test to check how that slow 0.5 gb memory works and again it's the same thing which driver do for a long time, that memory is stored in RAM instead of VRAM, that's why it slow. Basically, this is standart behavior for the most videocards on the market (vram is physical vram + a bit ram). What it means on practice compared to another videocards? GTX 970 have 3.5 Gb of VRAM. What i see in articles with explanation from NVidia is half-lie and of course casual people are incompenent and better to not listen to them. I don't think it's something horrible to loose 0.5 gb, but it's bad that NVidia hide such information (my own videocard with 2 gb or vram have access to 2.5 gb and nobody annonced it as 2.0 fast and 0.5 slow). Myth busted.

Another update regarding "GTX 970 memory bug". I am and Alexander Blade did own tests and prooved that this performance issue exist, but it is not hardware bug as i thought. Performance decreases even for memory allocation outside of 3.5-4gb memory range after that "bug" occur (in released previously allocated blocks), so it's driver bug (or may be driver configuration per videocard model). Myth busted.

Updated ENBSeries 0.265 for TES Skyrim without version change. Added string variables to shaders for text annotations, added detailed shadows for hemisphere and spot lights. Mod editor size is automatically increased a little for bigger screen resolutions.

Just want to say few things about recently found "GTX 970 memory bug". Do not panic, this looks like driver management of resources and any video memory tests are useless, unless they are running from clear DOS mode. I have seen a lot of videocards per model which suffer from performance issues when vram is near to end, only developers of drivers do know how that works.

Seems bug with shadows on latest NVidia drivers was false alarm, not many players have it and reverting drivers do nothing.

Updated ENBSeries 0.265 for TES Skyrim without version change. Added specular parameters as multipliers to existing for [OBJECT], [VEGETATION] and [EYE] categories of enbseries.ini to control individually, may be useful for wet body mods.

Updated ENBSeries 0.265 for TES Skyrim without version change. Added parallax for terrain, some vanilla textures already work (alpha channel of diffuse maps is height data for parallax). Added parameter FixParallaxTerrain=true to enblocal.ini for activating parallax of terrain (parallax fix must be enabled also). Forced fps limiter for loading screens to 60 fps.

Published DX8 to DX9 convertor version 0.036. Fixed some critical bugs. Actually i wanted to make it compatible with Silent Hill 3, but game shaders have bugs which require their manual editing, it's too much work for me.

Latest NVidia drivers display error message. You may ignore it or uninstall GeForce Experience software. Games which i modified do not use that function, so i'm not in a hurry to implement it.

Published ENBSeries 0.264 for TES Skyrim. This version have a lot of code changes, so if you have new bugs, report on the forum. Removed obsolete FixSsaoHairTransparency parameter. Added edge antialiasing for loading screens. Added depth computation for transparent objects to fix depth based artifacts of objects like some hair types, fire and other particles, volumetric fog, mist. Added hack which allow to disable relfection for certain objects, check out HACKS section in description how to use it.
